Sam refused to pose for Manny’s pictures or send a message to Jason. Meanwhile, Det. Rodriguez arrested Jason on Alexis’ orders. At the police station, Alexis told Jason she agreed Manny was playing a game with Jason, so she’s removing him from the game by charging him with Juan Escobar’s murder and locking him up for 48 hours. With Jason off the board, Alexis hoped Manny would free Sam. Jason was sure Manny would simply kill her. Nevertheless, Alexis held a press conference naming Manny as a suspect in Sam’s kidnapping and announcing Jason’s arrest. Then she appealed for Sam’s release. Mayor Floyd berated her for her tactics, suggesting she’s just feeling guilty for freeing Manny to begin with. Manny told Sam about her mother’s gambit, and resolved to send her a message: on Sam’s skin! Meanwhile, Liz snuck into interrogation to tell Jason she remembered Manny talking about mopping the floors of GH, so Jason guessed Manny must be hiding Sam somewhere inside GH.

Georgie protested that she and Diego were just swimming, but Dillon refused to believe her. Diego joined the protest, but Dillon lamented how the good girl always falls for the bad boy in the movies. It’s a cliche. (Ya think?) After Dillon fled, Georgie blasted Lulu and stormed out. Diego confessed surprise that Lulu went through with the scam. When he left Lulu started sobbing. She later found Dillon freaking out at the boathouse. “I loved that girl,” he insisted. “I’m an idiot.” Lulu tried to comfort him, and they embraced. Then they kissed. A lot.

Sonny admitted he’d gotten ugly with Carly before, and warned her to leave. She said a lot of things would have been different if she had walked out the first time she saw him like this, but she didn’t do it then, and she’s not doing it now. Sonny asked why she wants him to get well, since he’s such a selfish bastard. Carly said she’s here because Jason asked her to be here, and Sonny shouldn’t ask her to leave because deep down he wants her to stay. “We’re both fools,” Sonny spat. They recalled that when they first met he thought she was kinda trampy, and she was impressed by the way he flaunted his money. Carly suggested he doesn’t like her because she reminds him of where he came from instead of where he’s going. He admired her loyalty, but was shocked by her capacity to tell vicious lies. He believed she lost her mind because of him, and now he is falling into a hole “so dark and deep that I’m not sure that I can get out of it.” And he’ll drag her in with him. But she didn’t blame him for driving her crazy — they drive each other crazy. “I knew it was coming!” he shouted, throwing stuff. “What the hell’s wrong with being happy?” Sonny found a flask and sipped. Carly warned him that getting drunk wouldn’t help. Sonny told her she has to “know when to walk away.”

Somewhere, Anna was handed an assignment file and warned to not become personally involved. She accepted. At the PC docks, Robert found Luke staring at the open water. He recounted visiting Laura to tell her about Justus’ death. He suggested they skip town, but Robert balked at blowing his second chance at fatherhood, and Luke should think about Lulu — and Sparky-Butt, because she might not always be there. Later, Lulu found Luke just as he fretted, “There’s something in the air. Something strange.” His phone rang. It was Holly, sounding endangered. But she was actually sipping champagne in a bath. Still, Luke left Lulu in the lurch.

Robin insisted she wasn’t flirting with Nikolas — and that Patrick was hiding his feelings for her. “I am not looking for an emotional bond,” he hissed. So she called him “a coward” and ran off. Robin ran into Daddy at the docks, and when she balked at talking to him, her mother appeared!

Georgie told Diego that since Dillon is blaming her for something she didn’t do, she’s free to do it — and kissed him. But he balked. Inside the boathouse Dillon and Lulu pondered not doing anything rash — then started tearing each other’s clothes off.

Carly vowed to “save” Sonny because she needs him in her life. “I gotta do this on my own,” he said. “You can’t do it on you own,” she replied. He asked if she’d leave if he kissed her. She defied him. So he kissed her. Then again.
