Sonny argued with Lainey over his medication. He thought he was getting too much and feared it would turn him into a zombie. “I am who I am, and I’m not gonna change for anybody,” he said. Lainey promised that she’d find the correct dose so he could achieve “successful social behavior.” Sonny still refused to let her increase his dosage. Lainey said whenever he decides he’s ready to get well that he let her know. “Until then, we’re done here,” she said before showing him out of her office.
Sam bumped into Jason at the hospital and Alexis saw them talking. After a few moments, Lucky came by and arrested Jason. Carly walked in to see it and Jason told her to get him a lawyer.
Ric vistied Sonny and told him that he’s better equipped than Jason to handle the meeting with Rosales because he’s a lawyer and a shark. “If you send me into that meeting I will come out with you in a position of power,” he promised. Carly came running in to tell Sonny that Jason needs a lawyer. When she saw Ric talking to Sonny, she guessed that he had Alexis arrest Jason to buy some alone time with his brother. Ric said that Alexis has her own agenda. Sonny told Ric to leave and reminded him that his hatred of Jason has caused him a lot of pain. Ric left and Carly told Sonny they need to get Jason out of jail so he can go to the meeting. Sonny said there’s no time and that he’d go himself. Carly noticed that Sonny hadn’t taken his medication and asked him to be careful.
Sonny sat in the car while Bernie briefed him on the participants in the meeting. He said how one of the guys was a real hothead. He asked Sonny if he was sure he was up to it and offered to go in for him. Sonny told Bernie to stay in the car “like a good little boy” while he goes into the meeting himself. Sonny walked into the meeting and one of the guys said they heard he went “loco”. One man told Sonny that he is not who he once was. He asked how he can control his organization if he can’t control himself. Then he told the other men at the meeting that they were leaving, and Sonny pulled a gun and said, “You leave when I say.”
Lucky popped a couple of pills just before Alexis came in to the police station. Sam told her that it it’s ridiculous that she had Jason arrested on made-up charges and then stormed out. Alexis sat with Jason and told him that he’s being held for his own protection because some thugs are in town that might want to hurt him. She then told Jason if he really cares about Sam that he should just tell her he doesn’t love her anymore. Jason said he can’t lie to Sam like that. Carly busted into the interrogation room demanding that Jason be released. She threatened to tell the mayor Alexis is abusing her position as DA. Alexis went into a horrible coughing fit.
Lucky went out for a cup of coffee and ran into Ric who asked Lucky if he was part of the cover-up of Jason’s role in Manny’s murder. Lucky denied any knowledge. He told him how pathetic it is that everyone covers for Jason when he should be prosecuted for murder.
Sam went back home and poured a drink. Ric was already there, seemingly a drink or two in already. He poured himself another and told Sam that Jason doesn’t deserve her pain. Sam asked why Ric cares. “You tell me,” Ric answered.
Lulu saw Elizabeth with her son and asked how it made her feel when she learned she was pregnant. Elizabeth admitted that she had a hard time facing up to it at first, but that now she can’t imagine her life without her kid. She told Lulu that denial really only makes things worse once you do deal with your issues.
A bikini-clad Colleen talked Nikolas into putting on some trunks and joining her for a swim. He brought with them a picnic basket he had made. Emily came back with Alfred, the butler, because she thought she left her phone behind. While she sorted through papers on a desk looking, she stumbled onto a photo of her and Nikolas. As she sighed looking at it, Nikolas came back in saying that Alfred told him that he had a phone call, and seeing as there was no call, they realized that Alfred set them up to meet. They found Emily’s cell phone stuck in the couch. When Alfred came back they asked him if he hid her phone on her, but he denied it. He dropped off some lemonades and left again. Nik asked Emily if she wanted to join him for a swim. Colleen came back to see him talking to Emily. Later, Emily and Nikolas marveled over Spencer as he napped. The lights flickered and they worried about a brownout. Colleen came in and took Spencer for a bath. After she left, Emily commented to Nik that she doesn’t think Colleen likes her because she has a crush on him. Nikolas asked Emily if that would make her jealous.
