Liz defended Lucky against Patrick’s accusation that he took the pills from the hospital. Patrick was still suspicious. “My husband wouldn’t lie about taking pills and I resent the implication that he would,” she declared, then told him to back off.

Sam asked why suddenly after a visit from Alexis, Jason was still pushing her away. “We still love each other more than ever,” she pointed out. “I am not denying that I love you,” he said, then explained that he wanted to keep her safe. Sam gave him one last chance to be sure. “If I walk out that door, I’m not coming back,” she vowed. Carly came in. Sam said she wouldn’t make it easy for Jason to dump her and that Jason had to tell her to go. “Go,” he whispered. She tearfully told him she hated him and that he would regret his decision. At the elevator, she ripped off her star diamond necklace and threw it into the janitor’s bucket.

Carly awoke at Sonny’s house and offered to make breakfast; Sonny accepted. He looked on the floor and spied broken glass from a picture frame. He put one of the pieces in his hand and squeezed it until his hand bled. Carly came back in with a tray and saw his bloody hand. “What did you do?” she asked, then gently told him to open his hand. She put a napkin on it. “I’ve always had blood on my hands,” he said, the meaning very clear. Carly got Max and told him to stay with Sonny while she went out. “Don’t let him out of your sight,” she said. Once alone, Sonny accused Max of wanting Carly. Max eventually confessed that he has thought about the ex-Mrs. C.

Ric brought Alexis coffee at the office and suggested that Alexis try Jason for manslaughter to put him away for good. “I’m not sending Jason to prison. He didn’t kill Manny. Lucky did,” she said. Ric urged her to take another look at the autopsy. She said no. He huffed off. Outside of the station, Ric ran into Lucky. Ric asked some probing questions about the night on the roof. He then went back inside and began to poke around in files, but was caught by Det. Rodriguez, who then had the files put away.

Sam visited her mother and told her that she and Jason were over. Alexis thought that was a good idea. Sam apologized to Alexis for fighting with her over Jason. “Do you forgive me?” Sam asked. Alexis said there was no need for forgiveness; she’s her mother. They hugged. Ric looked on.

Once alone with Jason, Carly revealed what happened the night before when Sonny thought Jason was dead and went after Alcazar. She suggested they commit Sonny to Rose Lawn. Jason said they couldn’t send him away. He’ll get worse; he’s claustrophobic, Jason pointed out, then tried to get out of bed to help. She told him she didn’t need him to help since he just had surgery; she just needed a sounding board. “Maybe saving Sonny has been my destiny all along, Jason,” she said tearfully. She returned to the house, where Sonny ordered Max to tell Carly how he felt about her. Sonny then listed all of Carly’s former paramours. Jason came in at the end of Sonny’s speech and said, ” This has to stop.”

Georgie went running into Kelly’s, apologizing for being late and saw her homewrecking co-worker Lulu. Georgie freaked. Mike tried to mediate. Georgie said Lulu should be fired. Lulu said the same about Georgie. The girls went outside to hash it out. “How long did you wait before you threw yourself at my man, you conniving, pathetic little slut,” Georgie spat. Clueless Dillon came upon them and chastised Georgie for trashing Lulu after what she did to him. “Diego and I went for a swim. Nothing else happened,” Georgie insisted. Dillon said that Lulu had no reason to lie. “Are you that dense? Lulu wants you all to herself!” Georgie pointed out, then took down the whole Spencer clan and said how gross it was that they were stepsibs and sleeping together. Diego walked over. Georgie then revealed how she overheard Dillon’s message to Lulu and knew for a fact they had sex. “Was she good in bed? Was she better than me?” Georgie cried. She then said that she wanted to keep her job at Kelly’s and work the same shift as Lulu so that Lulu could look into Georgie’s eyes and know what a liar she is. Lulu ran off; Dillon followed her. Lulu went to the boathouse and cried while she had flashes of sleeping with Dillon and other boathouse moments. Dillon found her there and apologized for Georgie’s behavior. They decided to try dating. She kissed him and he responded. Back at Kelly’s, Georgie asked Diego out. He proposed going to a concert in the park. She suggested his place afterward, but he said that wouldn’t be a good idea.
