At the Rainy Roof Rendezvous, Nik and Courtney pounded on the access door, laughing flirtatiously. Over at the PCPD, Durant didn’t buy Lucky and Jesse’s report about Rachel’s suicide and note, accusing Sonny of offing Rachel to clear Michael. Meanwhile, Sam urged Jason to search his memories from 10 years ago to find a connection between Dr. Thomas and AJ. Speaking of the shrink, he won Michael away from Jodie’s warnings and hypnotized him with his shiny evil pen. Back on the roof, the Prince and the Showgirl flirted and made small talk about the old interns (Joe? Karen? Chris?) “how do you say in this country?” hooking up on the roof. (Nik, flirting with Courtney doesn’t make you fresh-off-the-boat. It just makes you fresh) Down below, their clueless spouses continued to rave about fate. Back at the PD, Sonny actually gave the cops some props for their mad investigative skillz — and dissed Durant in the process. Daddy and The Don began to fight like fourth grade girls on the playground and Ric had to break it up. Back at La Casa Alcazar, Carly had the most ironic statement of the week. She warned Alan and Monica not to use custody of Michael “as an opportunity to rewrite history.” Then, Sonny called, telling Carly Michael would be cleared. Back at the Penthouse of Revisionist History, Sam wondered if Jason had seen Dr. T. and AJ together in his room all those years ago or overheard something that would lead to blackmail and murder. A hypnotized Mikey murmured “It’s you” as Dr. T. walked him through AJ’s death. And the doc pulled the Syringe of Doom from his pocket…
Over at Castle Greyskull, Reese wondered if Sonny did have Rachel whacked but her conscience only prickled a little. Sonny assured her that as far as he knew, Rachel’s suicide and confession were real. Michael emerged from his session and threw himself into Carly’s arms as Ric told Durant he no longer had grounds to hold the boy. On the Roof o’ Randiness, Nik and Courtney quit flirting for five seconds to regret flirting and they agreed not to do it again. Riiight. Emily found them and they made awkward excuses. Guilty and wet Courtney went down to Jax, who resolved to take her home and draw her a nice, hot bath. Back at the Alcazars, Lorenzo made nice with baby Morgan and Leticia before sending them to the “family reunion” at Greyskull. Aww! Skye marveled that he was okay with being left out of Big Partay. “What are my options?” a bemused Lorenzo wondered. Skye suggested “nasty little dramas” involving thongs, champagne, handcuffs, or another woman. Lo seemed fascinated. “Are you offering?” “You’re far too rational for sexual game one-upmanship,” Skye observed. Over at the Family Fete, Michael hugged everybody, grinning from ear to ear. Everyone knew he didn’t kill AJ but he knew who did…
At the hospital, Jax spotted a wet Nikolas and noted that Courtney wasn’t the only one who’d gotten caught in the rain. Alan and Monica fought over at the Quartermaine mansion about their sons and Monica’s bias. Alan made an ominous comment about a doctor being the one to end AJ’s life. Hmm. Back at the Michael’s-Free-a-palooza, Michael revealed that Rachel had killed AJ and he’d figured this out since his session with Dr. Thomas. Sonny and Carly just wanted to move on while Reese and Jason both looked troubled. Sonny patted Ric on the head for a job well done, saying he’d acted “like a real brother.” As the Corinthoses bonded, Reese confided her suspicions about Dr. Thomas killing AJ and Rachel and manipulating Michael to Ric. Jason arrived home and Sam was baffled by the Rachel Adair turn of events, but Jason was ready to drop it so Michael could heal. Dr. T. could have a “traffic accident” if necessary. As Nik said something lame about forgetting his umbrella, Emily overheard his Big Fat Lie. At Avenue Q, Monica peered out the French doors and saw Alan taking something from behind a loose brick in the wall. Adorable Morgan fed Carly a cookie and the Corinthoses sighed over having no bad things in sight — until Lorenzo strolled in. Sonny and Michael cracked up laughing. Lorenzo, however, didn’t. Carly wasn’t ready to go and was staying there tonight. Uh-oh. Jason got increasingly worked up over the Michael debacle and flashed back to the Nonexistent Past, to a nurse saying AJ wanted to see Dr. Thomas. There was a connection. Gasp! In his office, Dr. Thomas cut up his tape of planting the Rachel story in Mikey’s head as Reese walked in. She brought up Rachel’s untimely demise and Dr. T. looked down at the Syringe of Doom again…
