“We’re officially divorced,” Emily sneered to Nikolas. “Not quite,” he replied. “I haven’t signed my copy yet.” As he began to scribble, Courtney paid close attention to the tension between the two. Nik signed and said he’d file the papers with Alexis. Emily thanked him for taking care of it, and then cried after he and Court left. Outside in the snowstorm, Court told Nikolas that he and Emily still needed to talk out some issues, and walked ahead of Nik. Once past him, Court was clobbered by a snow-laden branch and injured her leg. Nik and Em rushed to Court’s aid. They brought her inside, but the phones were out and Em’s cell phone was dead. Nik told Em she needed to stitch up the wound, but Emily froze. Nik vowed he’d do it himself. Without stitching, Nik did get the bleeding under control, and Emily apologized for her performance anxiety. Nik gave her a pep talk. As they hugged, Court woke up and saw them.
At the Q’s, Edward fretted about Jason with Big Alice until Tracy burst in claiming she was robbed via identity theft. Though she got no sympathy from her father or maid, she knew the who the culprit was. Then there was a crash. The Q’s ran outside. It was Lulu crashing a snow mobile. Back inside, Tracy demanded her missing $15,000. Lulu played dumb, but Tracy demanded they fill in Luke and dragged Lulu out into the storm.
Jax was shocked by the contents of the envelope, and we’re weren’t privy to the contents. Damn! Luke demanded the hotel, and assured Jax he’d stay mum. Jax said he didn’t like being blackmailed, but agreed and signed over half the hotel to Carly. Skye arrived and demanded to know why Jax would sell. “What does Luke have over you?” she queried. Jax barked at her and refused to spill. Lulu and Tracy arrived at the hotel, via snowmobile, where Luke chastised his daughter. As the adults bickered, Skye suggested that Lulu take a job at the hotel and work off the debt she incurred. Luke agreed. Then, the power went out. Outside GH, Jax asked Dr. Meadows if she talked to Luke. Hmmm.
Port Charles fretted as Jason’s surgery began. If only they knew Manny was lurking on the premises.
As Monica and Sam comforted each other, Patrick announced, “Okay people. Let’s party.” As the procedure began, Patrick refused to listen to Noah’s suggestion about an incision. However, Robin put her foot down saying she was still Jason’s specialist and Dr. Drake Sr.’s way was more effective. Patrick reluctantly followed her order and proceeded. As they operated, Noah and Patrick bickered about their tattered relationship, until the lights began to flicker. Was it the storm? Alan told Dr. Meadows that the back-up power system was in place, but they can’t afford to lose power while Jason’s in surgery. Manny overheard the conversation. The power went off, but the back-up generator did kick in. In the hall, Manny eyed an axe on the wall. He entered the “Generator Room” and started hacking away at the equipment. In the O.R., the intrepid trio of doctors continued valiantly to save Jason’s life.
Sonny and Carly shared fond reminiscing outside the hospital in the snow. Carly told Sonny she’s not going to cling to him anymore. He agreed that he’s not good for her. Bobbie wandered on the scene. She and Carly hugged, but then Sonny said it was time to get Carly back to Rose Lawn. However, when the power flickered, they ran back into the hospital to check on Jason.
Liz was disturbed to hear that Lucky was itching to get back to work.
In the darkness, the gang went batty with worry about Jason, as Manny entered the O.R.
