On the docks, Dillon reeled from the news that Lulu’s pregnant. She hastily added that it wasn’t planned and not a scheme to trap him. Dillon started rattling on about how he’ll skip a semester and get a job, then blurted that he can marry her if that’s what she wants. The young mother-to-be was aghast at the suggestion and yelled at him. He yelled back at her about how they have to be responsible. The screeching and screaming concluded with Lulu rushing off in tears. Dillon went to tell Georgie the news, she explained that she already knew. Later on, Lulu found Georgie at the hospital and confided that she is considering an abortion.
Elizabeth hovered outside the door, as Lucky spoke about his addiction before a support group. She returned to their messy apartment, which was littered with beer bottles and pulled out a suitcase. Lucky came home and said he was glad Liz was there. She told him that she’d been planning on moving out, but changed her mind. They have a lot of talking to do, but only if he’s not high, she warned. Lucky told her that he’d just come back from a support group meeting. Liz said that she’d stay, but laid down some tough rules. Lucky pulled his wife into a tender embrace. Afterward, Liz warned her husband to steer clear of Maxie and he apologized for ever thinking she could be unfaithful. Gulp.
After Sam’s confession that she had sex with Ric, Jason calmly reported that he’d seen them in the act at the lake house. She was stunned when he explained that he’d gone there to reconcile with her. She launched into a monologue about all of the dumb decisions she’s ever made. “Did Ric force you?” asked Jason. Sam said that even though she was drunk, she could have said no. He acknowledged that he was the one who pushed her away. He then awkwardly told Sam that he’d slept with Elizabeth. After Sam said she should leave, Jason stopped her. He urged her not to turn her back on her family and to stay in town.
Outside his wife’s office, Ric eavesdropped as Alexis unloaded to Sonny about her woes with Sam. The mobster pressed her to reveal what’s going on with her and Alexis mentioned that she has a health problem, but didn’t get specific. At home, Sonny ordered Bernie to find out what’s the matter with Alexis. Ric came in to rant about Sonny’s conversation with Alexis, but Sonny told him off and sent him on his way. Later, Bernie returned with a file, which Sonny read and burned. After that, he made an ice cream date with Kristina.
Responding to a summons from Alexis, Sam visited her office and reiterated that she’s leaving Port Charles. Have a nice life, she said. Um, yeah, that’s the problem responded Alexis, who told her daughter that Kristina and Molly need her. “They have the perfect mother, “replied Sam. Alexis hit her with the news that “Their perfect mother has lung cancer.”
On the docks, Maxie delivered pills to Lucky, who tossed them away and told her they can’t see each other again. In the meantime, Liz showed up at Jason ‘s and asked him to please keep their night of sex a secret. It’s too late, he responded.
