GH Recaps Week of April 4, 2005

In the Bahamas, Sam’s bikini trick worked. (Come on… you knew it would!) Jason saved her from the blabby lech, just after he spilled about sucking face with Faith and overhearing a call with her “rich friend from Port Charles”….

Sonny came to Reese’s defense against drunk Alan. Sonny took drunk Reese back to his place. She spilled that she has evidence that he was responsible for the Sandoval shootings. Sonny countered that Reese was wearing a wire, so he ripped her blouse off. She wasn’t, but she is quick with a gun. Reese stormed out. Sonny summoned Jason and Sam back to town, ordering them to flee the country….

Durant got a mysterious phone call about money, which Reese overheard. She tailed him to a church, where she heard Durant conspiring with a figure in a confessional. Durant spotted her, though….

When Michael told AJ he wanted to go home, AJ called the kid’s bluff and let him leave….

Carly told Alacazar the reasons she has been having visions of Michael is because he’s still alive. Lorenzo was skeptical but supportive, which led to a sultry kiss….

Skye’s revelation that AJ told her he’d never give Courtney a divorce didn’t sit well with Mac. A worried Jax offered to whisk Courtney away, but she declined to run from a crime she didn’t commit. Rachel woke up and announced she didn’t kill AJ. In a moment of privacy, Rachel confessed to them that AJ is alive….

In the park, Sam informed Carly that she and Jason believe Michael is alive. Thursday, April 7, 2005
Alcazar tried to convince Carly to give up hope on Michael, but she couldn’t….

Reese had a really bad day. Sonny laid into her for her constant interfernece. She retorted, “I’m not just a badge, Sonny. I have feelings.” He said she had no idea the pain he was experiencing and kicked her out. Distraught, Sonny met Carly in the park at the site of Michael’s memorial and they shared a tender moment. There, she mentioned Reese’s loss. Sonny was shocked….

At the hospital, Alan chastised Courtney for AJ’s death, and Monica read him the riot act for losing his self-control. Alan hit Jake’s and got drunk, where Reese was boozing as well. Sonny called Reese and offered an apology, which she rejected. She confided in Coleman while Alan eavesdropped. The drunks got into a sparring match, which ended when Alan hit Reese and called her “A whore with a badge,” just as Sonny walked in….

Jax and Courtney searched Rachel’s files (with Monica’s permission) and questioned Skye for clues to see if Rachel and AJ had a prior connection….

Jason and Sam followed their hunch about Michael to the Bahamas, where Sam wore a skimpy bikini to sollicit info off of unsuspecting horndogs. Wednesday, April 6, 2005
Lorenzo came to Diego’s defense and suspected Durant of dirty tricks, but was unable to prove it. Not that it mattered, because his plan worked….

Maria confessed to Reese that she saw Jason at the Sandoval shooting site. However, Reese kept the crucial info from Durant and confronted Jason, instead. Meanwhile, Durant met up with a mystery man in a church confessional who wanted to know what the prosecutor needed to take Sonny down….

Alexis had a tearful therapy session, reiterating her anxiety of having Kristina becoming a victim of Sonny’s dangerous world…. Reese could barely keep it together as she told Carly about her son, Jamie, who was killed. Troubled by her visions of Michael, Carly then had an emotional heart-to-heart with Courtney, and went back to the park hoping to see “Michael.”….

Jax began investigating Rachel’s activities in the Bahamas.Tuesday, April 5, 2005

An emotional Steven spoke with a comatose Rachel, who had a dream abouthow she met up with AJ in the Bahamas and hatched their insidious plan to fake his death….

Jax made love with Courtney to taker her mind off her troubles….

During their pillow talk, Court suspected that AJ had Rachel might have had a prior relationship….

Alan and Carly had a heated confrontation about AJ….

Diego was busted in the park with Brook Lynn, Dillon and Georgie when drugs were found in his bag, but he denied the contraband was his. Durant visited Maria and puts the screws to her: He had the pot planted in Diego’s bag to blackmail her into coming clean about seeing Jason at the scene of the Sandoval shooting. It worked….

Though AJ and Michael were bonding, Michael wrote Carly a letter asking why she and Sonny have stopped loving him. AJ pretended to mail it, but the sneak actually burned it instead. Back at home, Carly had a vision of Michael on a swing in the park….

Alexis talked with Dr. Winters about her history with Sonny also had to submit to the hot seat. Then, Carly and Ric both testified before the judge, who reached a decision about Kristina’s custody. Though the judge was sympathetic to Alexis, he refused to change the custody arrangement, leaving Alexis crushed. Monday, April 4, 2005
The court-appointed shrink Dr. Winters, met with Alexis and wants to meet with Sonny….

Carly continued to be haunted by visions of Michael, and confided that to Alcazar. Then, she confronted Alexis, warning the lawyer that she could lose custody of Kristina if her scheme backfires. Ric felt trapped in the middle between his wife and his brother. Later, Carly offered to coach Sonny for his meeting with the court-appointed therapist….

AJ continued his plan to make Michael believe that no one back home wants him anymore. As cruel as that is, AJ made a convincing case about how all of PC turned their backs on him. Father and son eventually bonded when AJ read his son to sleep….

Courtney and Jax spill the truth about Rachel to Mac, but he didn’t buy her story and arrested her on the spot. Jax once again proved himself a knight in shining armor by sticking by Court…..

Steven and Liz had some great half-brother/sister moments bonding over him having to perform life-saving surgery on the woman who wants him dead….

Alexis then went to Reese and asked her to testify in her behalf. (But if Alexis is so worried about keeping Kristina safe, why would she take a meeting at Metro Court, which was just the scene of a mob shooting a week ago? Hmmm.) As the show wrapped, we got the juicy tid-bit from Reese that she “used to be” a mother.
