High as a kite and jealous, Lucky informed Robin that Dr. Drake is after Elizabeth. At the Qs, Lulu told a calling Luke to get out of the Maarkam Islands ASAP — which Robert overheard. Alexis accepted the assistant DA position as Durant scoffed, “I’m not sure I want you anymore.” Sonny was surprised by the wrong “Family” gathering and Michael was bummed to see Sam sans Jason. Robin assured Lucky that Patrick was just a harmless flirt and he grouchily wheeled back to his room. Robin and Patrick did their usual banter thing, with Patrick assuring Robin he was “good to go” in the sex department. “You wouldn’t be trying to set me up, would you?” Robert wondered of Lulu. “Why would I pull a fast one on you?” she shot back, innocently. Alexis and Durant snarked over the job offer before he admitted her name was already on the door. Carly forced cheer to get the awkward Jason-free birthday bash going.

Robert remained skeptical of Lulu as a call informed him Holly had been broken out of jail by “Dr. Von Schemermann.” “Look, Sunshine…you’ve gotten ridiculous since your father got back,” Patrick observed, encouraging Robin to take initiative with him (sexually) and her father (not sexually). Jax had stuff for John delivered to Carly’s while birthday celebrations continued at Sonny’s and the Mystery Paparazzi snapped them. Michael gave Sam cake for Jason before she left (So sad!). Alexis arrived to collect Ric and Kristina and told Sonny she’d taken the ADA position. “Does the term ‘party pooper’ mean anything to you?” Carly sniped. Alice escorted Robin to “that lousy backstabber,” Robert. Just when it seemed Robin and Robert had buried the hatchet, Alice slapped Robert’s ticket to the islands at him. Jax intercepted and opened mail for Carly — a copy of John’s paternity test! (Hey, isn’t that a federal offense?) Lucky got hostile at Liz about Patrick and then Nikolas told Lucky he’d lost his mind: “Elizabeth loves you!”

Robert snarked that he hadn’t known today would be the day of Robin’s “great epiphany.” Ouch! Carly came home and Jax finally clued into this week’s Truth Hints. Ric and Alexis considered the “ramifications” of both their job prospects. Kristina gave Sonny a present from Carly: a photo of Carly, him, and Jason. Robert wondered how a child of his and Anna’s could be so cloistered and afraid. Robin told Dad to go betray his best friend and leave her to her “cloistered, frigid life.” Lulu caught the tail end of the Daddy-Daughter row. Mr. Photo snapped Emily as she arrived at GH and let Liz unload on her. “He’s your macho jerk and deep down he loves you like crazy,” Em reminded. Then, Nikolas told Emily he’d play peacemaker for once. Jax finally ‘fessed up to Nikolas being John’s father and Carly admitted she hadn’t known for very long.

Jason warned Sam their lives would be different with him running the business. When they grabbed for a little normalcy (with kissing), Mr. Escobar dropped by. Ric poured drinks for himself and the birthday boy and then Ric twisted the knife about Carly’s loyalty to Jason and the Big Breakup. Sonny smashed Carly’s gift as Ric stared at himself in the mirror. In a last ditch effort to keep Robert grounded, Lulu conked him with a vase. “What’s the big emergency?” Patrick asked a frantically knocking Robin. “What I want is you, right now!” she gasped, pouncing him and ferociously pushing him to bed. (Who’da thought she had it in her?) Carly soberly wondered if Jax had ever intended to tell her. “It was my problem. It shouldn’t be yours,” he sighed. But was she going to tell Nikolas? Naturally, that’s exactly when Nikolas arrived. The camera panned across The Mystery Paparazzi…and a network of tattoos. Que sorpresa (only not)! It’s Manny! Sonny quoted Taggart’s old nickname of “AngerBoy” as he ruminated on how he’d taught Jason the business he later stole. And to hold onto it, Jason would have to kill him. Escobar gave Jason major kudos, but had one important Bizness request: “Kill Sonny Corinthos.”
