Forever YOUNG (AND RESTLESS) Page 2
Nick and Sharon
Nick and Sharon fell for each other in high school, though both had significant others — Amy and Matt. Nick ended up with Sharon and got into a huge brawl with her ex; Nick was then jailed for Matt’s attempted murder. When he was freed, they wed; their family soon expanded to include Cassie, the daughter Sharon had once given up for adoption, and their son, Noah. They managed to stay together for 10 years, despite them both having affairs and having to endure Cassie’s death. However, after Nick cheated with Phyllis and got her pregnant, he and Sharon agreed to divorce.
Mac and Billy
At first, Mac and Billy didn’t like each other, but gradually became friends and fell for each other — despite the fact that her grandmother, Kay, and his mom, Jill, couldn’t stand each other, and despite the snooty Brittany’s attempts to win over Billy. Mac and Billy eventually wed, but right before they were about to consummate their marriage (and Mac was going to lose her virginity), they learned that Kay and Jill are mother and daughter — making them first cousins. The marriage was annulled and Billy left town. Mac then had her first time with J.T. (and departed from GC when that relationship didn’t work out). Billy recently returned after his father, John, died.
J.T. and Colleen
Colleen befriended the older J.T. when she began tutoring him in English. They became more than friends (he even taught her to drive), but their age difference caused some conflicts (read: she wasn’t ready to have sex). He cheated on her with his friend Brittany’s mom, Anita, but Coll forgave him. It was his career as a budding rock star which prompted her decision to leave town. Nowadays, J.T. is a junior detective, working with Paul, while she recently returned from college in New York. They’ve since reunited and live together. Oh, and Colleen finally had sex with him.
Lily and Daniel
Daniel first became acquainted with Lily through his pal, Kevin (who’d coerced her into sleeping with him when she was still underage). In order to help salvage Kev’s rep, the guys came up with a scheme where they’d hire someone to “attack” Lily and Kevin would “rescue” her. Only problem is, their plan worked too well when the attacker, Alex, actually drugged Lily and tried to rape her. Later, she and Daniel got to know each other while working in the rec center together, but his troubles were just beginning: After being accused of causing the drunken driving accident that killed Cassie, he and Lily went on the run. He was eventually declared innocent, but Lily’s parents, Neil and Dru, still didn’t trust him. To prove how serious they were about staying together, the high school seniors wed. They encountered some problems when she learned the truth about the Alex scam, but quickly reunited.
