Fan Festival 2004
After being introduced and taking a walk down the red carpet, stars signed autographs, answered questions during talk shows and caught up with the press in the green room at Cafe TuTu Tango.
Some fans got a bird’s-eye view of a talk show with PASSIONS’s (second from l. to r.) Justin Hartley (Fox), Charles Divins (Chad), Brook Kerr (Whitney) and Tracey Ross (Eve), hosted by radio personality Sean Valentine ( l.), who appeared on the soap as Fred the Florist in 2002. Pregnant Lindsay Korman (Theresa, not pictured) answered questions from the front row.Amelia Marshall (Liz, PASSIONS) learned something about Divins after sharing an autograph-signing table with him. “I’m signing with Brook and Charles. I always thought Charles was a nice, young, Southern gentleman; I never knew he had such a quirky, dirty sense of humor,” she laughed. “The fans are great and so sweet and they made me feel great. Sometimes, I think that they don’t love Liz because she’s such a bitch, but it’s funny to hear them say that they really love that she is. So, I’m having a good time.”
From l. to r.: PASSIONS’s Louise Sorel (Dort; ex-Vivian, DAYS), James Hyde (Sam), Heidi Mueller (Kay) and Dana Sparks (Grace) shared a table. “I’m a very touchy person and I love to look people in the eye and I love to shake their hand,” shared Hyde. “I feel that if the fans travel 10 hours on a bus to come to see us, they deserve more than a card in their face and [to be shoved away]. From the bottom of my heart, I’m in awe that someone would travel that far to get an autograph. I’m sick when they have to cut the line off. I sign a few to pass out [to those who don’t get to the table].”
PASSIONS’s Kim Johnston Ulrich (Ivy, l.) and Juliet Mills (Tabitha, c.) posed with fan Jeanie Leonard from Gulf Breeze, FL.
DAYS’s Lauren Koslow (Kate, l.) and Alison Sweeney (Sami), caught up while grabbing refreshments in the green room. Ross posed with engaged real-life couple Hartley and Korman. Meanwhile, Marshall and Divins paused for photographers. Hyde chatted with SOAPnet. John Aniston (ex-Victor, DAYS) was happy to see his fans.
DAYS’s Kyle Lowder (Brady) spent the day signing autographs next to his wife, co-star Arianne Zuker (Nicole).
