Editors Share Their Favorite Y&R Memories
Stephanie Sloane: I first started watching the soap when I was a teenager; I was a big fan of Cricket and Danny’s love story. When I got to college, my two closest friends, Jackie and Alison, were also Y&R viewers, and it bonded us immediately.
Stella Bednarz: The long-running frenemy relationship between Katherine and Jill. Jeanne Cooper and Jess Walton always knocked it out of the park in their scenes together.
Mara Levinsky: The 1990 George Rawlins murder mystery with Paul, Cassandra and Adrian is what first drew me in. It was a truly excellent ‘whodunit’.
Devin Owens: Got to say the Marge-impersonating-Katherine saga that kicked off in 1989. That Jeanne Cooper was a hoot in both roles.
Tom Stacy: One of many is when J.T. rescued Colleen after the fire at Gina’s. Just when all seemed lost, J.T. found her necklace, found her and carried Colleen to the safety of dad Brad’s arms — all in slo-mo. No dry eyes here!
