Daytime Emmys Ceremony Canceled

In a letter to academy members, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman Terry O’Reilly announced that in light of the coronavirus crisis, the 47th Daytime Emmys, which were scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in June, have been canceled. “There are just too many unknowns right now,” he wrote, adding that NATAS President Adam Sharp and his team were working on “alternative ideas” to honor this year’s winners and that more details would be shared in the coming weeks.
