DAYS Star’s Kickstarter Campaign
DAYS's James Reynolds (Abe) has two days left to raise donations on Kickstarter for a play he's directing, Holding On-Letting Go, that has been chosen to be a main stage show at the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, NC from July 29-August 3, 2013. To help the Fremont Centre Theatre meet it's Kickstarter goal of $14,550, each dollar donated on Kickstarter from this point on will be matched by benefactor Mary Urquhart. That means every $20 you donate will mean $40 to the theater company's fundraising efforts. The play had its world premiere last summer at the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena. On the Kickstarter page, Reynolds shares, "It is difficult financially to move a production of this quality from one coast to another. With your help we will step toward the risk and embrace the challenge." For further information, click here.
