Sami and Lucas fretted about the missing Will and agreed that they would work together to find their son. EJ arrived to tell them that a press conference had been arranged for the next morning. Lucas wondered what happened to Carrie and Austin, who were gone all day hanging up
posters of Will. When Lucas couldn’t reach Carrie by cell phone and Sami had no luck contacting Austin, Lucas and Sami were both sure that
something had happened. So Lucas went to look for them. Sami lamented to EJ that Will’s kidnapping was all her fault for having blackmailed
Lexie.

It turned out that Carrie and Austin were fine, enjoying a drink together and chatting about how worried they were about Will. Austin reached for Carrie’s hand, but she pulled away, noting that they
couldn’t be together until AFTER Will was found. She needed to support Lucas now. Carrie and Austin were about to leave, when Lucas walked in
and overreacted about seeing them together. Realizing he’d jumped the gun, Lucas apologized to his wife and brother. Later, Sami was happy to see Carrie alive and well and insisted that Carrie and Lucas go home and rest. Austin agreed to stay with Sami. When EJ left, Sami told Austin that she was worried about him and Carrie being together. She
thought they might be reconciling and that wouldn’t be a good idea since Lucas needed Carrie now. Austin left for some air and headed up
the stairs toward the roof. Back at Lucas and Carrie’s apartment, Lucas told his wife how much he needed her and pulled her down onto the bed.
Afterwards, a teary-eyed Carrie left and headed up to the roof. EJ happened to see her and knocked on Lucas’ door. Carrie arrived on the
roof and found Austin punching his boxing bag. The couple ran into each other’s arms and kissed, just as Lucas arrived and caught them.

Belle, followed by Mimi and Bonnie, met John at the police station and explained what went down with Philip, Claire and Shawn; most importantly, that Shawn was Claire’s father. Belle noted that she and Shawn didn’t remember sleeping together. Bonnie said she didn’t blame Philip for running off with Claire, but Roman disagreed with her.
Meanwhile, Philip turned up at the hospital lab and demanded that Nakita show him the lab results. Nakita refused. Then, Shawn arrived and noted that his dad ordered the lab tests, so Nakita showed them to
Philip. Philip perused the results; then, tossed them on the floor as he held Claire and insisted that she was his daughter. Two policemen
arrived and asked Philip to hand them Claire, noting that they just wanted to make sure she was okay. Philip obliged and one of the officers handcuffed him, while the other left with Claire. “Give me my daughter,” screamed Philip. Later, the cops carted Philip into the police station, and Belle asked where Claire was, as Shawn walked in
toting her. Philip was booked; then, Roman told Belle that he’d be free to go. Shawn volunteered to take Claire home and left with Mimi. Belle
began to cry, noting how she had two children with Shawn. Still, she knew how much Philip loved Claire. John and Roman explained that
children with two fathers can adapt. John asked Belle to be honest with herself about the situation, and she fantasized about sitting with Shawn and trying to come up with a name for their baby. “Everything is
just so complicated,” admitted Belle. Later, at the loft, Shawn tended to Claire, while Mimi and Bonnie watched. Philip and Belle returned
home, and Belle begged Philip not to make a scene. Philip swore that Claire was his daughter, legally, and that there was nothing Shawn could do about it.
