Confused by the hubbub in the chapel, Marlena asks Alex if they can leave. John tells Marlena she can’t go — Sami needs her. Marlena protests. She doesn’t feel a thing for Sami or any of her other kids. John says, fine, but if Marlena is going to leave, he wants it to be with him. Programmed to trust and need only Alex, Marlena says no way. Alone with Alex, Marlena admits that the wedding upset her. Maybe it was being around John and Roman, two men she used to love and now has no feelings for. Alex suggests that perhaps Marlena is upset that the two men she once loved are now in love with Kate. Marlena is deeply affected and says she wants to leave Salem! Alex suggests returning to his cabin.
After removing her disguise, Kate accuses Sami of being Stan. Roman and Lucas say it’s impossible, but Kate insists it isn’t. The disguise she’s wearing and a file were delivered to her, earlier. Kate suggests that everyone take a look at it, while Sami vehemently protests. Everyone peruses the Sami to Stan transformation pictures and Philip thinks it could be possible. Belle tells Philip to go talk to Kate, while she goes outside for some air. Shawn immediately rushes to Belle’s side. Mimi reminds Shawn that Belle doesn’t need him. She has a husband to look after her. Shawn realizes Mimi is right and backs off, while Mimi summons Marlena to check on Belle.
Sami insists the pictures are fakes and accuses Kate of trying to ruin her wedding — again. Lying through her teeth, Sami begs Roman and Lucas to believe that she wasn’t Stan. Kate suggests Sami swear on a Bible that she wasn’t Stan but Sami refuses. No one believes Kate’s crazy story, so she doesn’t have to. Lucas agrees to resume the wedding, prompting Kate to reveal the final ace up her sleeve. Kate presents a crime-lab report stating that Sami’s DNA was all over the Stan disguise. It’s undeniable proof that Sami was Stan.
Jennifer tends to a sick Jack, who insists he just has “a bug,” even though he’s really dying. Jennifer sends Frankie to the garage for a heating pad and then calls Lexie. Lexie arrive and examines Jack, while Jennifer wonders what is taking Frankie so long. Suddenly, Jennifer remembers a love letter she wrote to Frankie when he went off to college and blurts out that he can’t read it. But it’s too late. Jennifer goes to the garage and Frankie asks, “Why didn’t you mail this?” Jennifer explains that she assumed Frankie probably found another girlfriend by then. Frankie says that their lives might have been different if he’d have known Jennifer wanted a future with him. Jennifer says she’s sorry that Frankie never found anyone special to share his life with but she met Jack and believes it was meant to be. Jennifer is sorry Frankie found the letter but he’s not. Now he knows she really did love him. Meanwhile, Lexie tells Jack that he’s getting worse. He’s not going to be able to hide his symptoms much longer. It’s time
he told Jennifer that he’s dying. Jack refuses. When Lexie says Jack doesn’t have a choice, he insists he does. He’s going to
disappear. Lexie thinks it’s a crazy idea but before she can talk Jack out it, Marlena calls. She needs Lexie at once. There’s
something wrong with Belle. Lexie returns to the church, examines Belle, and tells her she’s in labor.
