Alex, Marlena and John returned to the penthouse. Marlena changed into more comfortable clothes. John put on the song he and Marlena danced to at the wedding and she smiled at its familiarity. John suggested they go on the terrace. Marlena went outside; John ordered Alex to leave. Alex said he had to stay for Marlena’s sake. John joined his wife on the terrace and presented her with a necklace. She was thrilled and said she felt protected with him. They danced again to the song from their wedding. She had a memory of it. Marlena said she felt tired. John was pleased that they had made some good progress that night. After Marlena went up to bed, John warned Alex to stay away from Marlena. And if Alex did go in her room, John warned, John would know from the security system he installed. Marlena, slept, clutching the necklace. A sneaky Alex entered her bedroom through the terrace doors.
Brady and Chloe celebrated their wedding night in Isabella’s cabin. They talked about their Paris honeymoon, followed by their trip to a private Greek island. Chloe then revealed she hadn’t been faithful to their love by pretending to be dead. You have nothing to apologize for, Brady assured her. They made passionate love, then reveled in their union.
Sami and Lucas returned to the apartment and started kissing, but Sami didn’t want to tempt fate the night before their wedding. We have until 11:59, smiled her groom-to-be, then pledged his love. They had sex on the couch, then listened to a radio report about Tony’s escape and recapture. Sami told Lucas his obsession with Stan was going to ruin their marriage. The duo talked about their impending nups; Lucas went home.
Shawn asked Belle and Mimi what they were arguing about. Neither woman wanted to tell him that they were fighting about him. Shawn offered to take Belle home. Mimi waited around to talk to Bonnie. “You better start working this or you’re going to lose your chance to become Mrs. Shawn Brady,” warned Bons. “Do you love Shawn?” Bonnie asked. “I like him a lot,” Mimi admitted.
Shawn and Belle arrived back at the loft. Philip came home early from the hospital and found them there. Shawn left. We’re just friends, Belle insisted, then felt the baby kick. Phil was excited to touch her stomach, then talked to her big belly. Phil asked Belle if she and Mimi were getting along better. No, she replied. Shawn got back into the loft, where he found a just-showered Mimi in a towel. She put on a robe. Shawn asked her if she wanted to watch Jurassic Park 3 with him. Sure, she smiled.
