Bo and Hope’s divorce trial began, sans Bo. “Where could Bo be?” Maggie asked Alice. Alice said he was probably working on a plan to stop the divorce. (She was right.) They took a brief recess. Patrick suggested to Hope that Bo might have realized there was nothing left to fight for. “I wouldn’t count Bo Brady out so fast,” remarked Alice.
Kate and EJ went to the police station and offered up their new local access channel for an on-air appeal to find Will. Roman said he was working on the Eve Michaels case, too. EJ asked how it was going. Roman and Kate wondered why he was so interested. EJ said it was because of Kate. In Abe’s office, Tek, Roman and Bo tried to follow Eve’s money trail. Bo was determined to head to the courthouse with evidence in hand. Abe told Bo to just tell Hope about Kate’s confession, even though she recanted. “Hope needs irrefutable proof,” Bo explained. Abe pointed out that Bo was running out of time.
Lexie arrived at the station. Tek asked how she was doing. She said okay and that she had been busy. “Busy getting back together with her husband,” Abe bellowed. Tek asked Lexie if that was true. Roman cleared the room so they could have time alone. He went into Abe’s office to help Bo go through the evidence and find Eve’s killer. They looked over a list of people who owned the shoes that matched the footprint found outside the church. Back outside, Tek asked what changed between Abe and Lexie, considering Abe has been badmouthing Lexie for the past few months. Tek added that it sounded like Abe was up to something and that Lexie should be careful. Abe warned him to butt out.
The judge began the hearing. Hope asked if she could speak. She said that filing for divorce was the last thing she ever wanted to do and that all she wanted in their split was the house. Billie arrived and announced she was there to speak on behalf of Bo. Hope was outraged and explained to the court that Billie was Bo’s mistress and she didn’t want her there. Billie made a passionate plea for Hope to hear what she had to say. Alice said Hope should listen. Hope grudgingly allowed it. Billie asked to be sworn in. She told the truth about the night she allegedly slept with Bo and confessed that she never had sex with him. Hope said she saw them in bed together. “You saw what I wanted you to see,” Billie explained. “I slept in a chair.” She then shared that Chelsea alerted her that Hope was on the way over and so she left the door ajar and got in bed with Bo. She said she never slept with Bo until after Hope filed. Billie cried, begging for forgiveness, saying she did everything to protect Chelsea, but that Bo loves Hope and wants to only be with her. She implored Hope to forgive Bo and not go through with the divorce. “Neither of you will ever be happy with anyone else,” Billie declared. The session was adjourned anyway because the judge was called away. Alice told Patrick to enjoy his dinner, because it would probably be the last one he had with Hope.
Bo got a search warrant and went to Patrick’s house, where he discovered a pair of hidden shoes that matched the print found outside the church the night of murder. He also found the incriminating evidence disk in a lockbox. Patrick returned home, with Hope in tow. Bo arrested Lockhart for Eve’s murder.
The woman in the cabin fired off another shot at Jack and Jennifer. “Good-bye and good riddance,” she said. Jen tried to rouse Jack, who appeared unconscious. Jack came to and insisted he was fine, just shaken. Jen thought she heard the back door close, so they went into the house. They picked up the phone and it was a party line. “What is this, the 1940s or something,” Jen asked. Jack then requested that they get off the line. “This is an emergency,” he insisted. The women laughed at him and wouldn’t get off the phone. The homeowner, Enid, came back in. Jen spied tabloids on the woman’s table and pretended that they were warning her about a UFO sighting. Enid decided to go do some alien hunting. She took the phone with her, much to the Deverauxes dismay. Jack suggested they look to see if there was another phone anywhere in the cabin. Jack found an old one in a desk. He got through to Bo at the station and gave him the 411 on their situation. Jack told him the killer’s name, but Bo couldn’t hear because of the bad connection. Enid returned, determined to turn Jack and Jen into “road kill” for lying to her. The Deverauxes ran off. Jack worried about bats outside. They found a cave and came across a lantern. “How lucky can you get?” Jen asked. They then noted that the cave reminded them of the cave they first made love in.
