Bo and Hope arrive for Chloe and Brady’s wedding and smooch outside the church. Billie and Chelsea are delighted when Patrick shows up. “Lockhart, what are you doing here?” snaps an annoyed Bo. Billie says Patrick is her date, further annoying Bo and Chelsea, who wants him for herself. Yet, Chelsea is taking comfort in the perks of being Bo and Billie’s daughter. She tells Abby she was a nobody. Now, she’s a princess and she’s going to milk it for all it’s worth. To dissuade Chelsea’s crush on him, Patrick kisses Billie, once again annoying Chelsea and Bo. Hope calls Bo on his jealousy, but Bo insists he’s not. He just doesn’t want Lockhart anywhere near Chelsea.

Feeling uncomfortable the moment she steps foot in the church, Marlena begs Alex to take her away. Alex tells Marlena that her family needs her there. John says Marlena need not worry, he’s arranged to sit next to her. Too bad Marlena could care less. She just wants Alex’s support.

Bart shows up at Tony’s cell dressed as a guard, hands him a key, and tells him he’ll be “free as a bird in no time,” thanks to the information they got from Sami. Tony says it better be accurate, otherwise Sami’s plans to wed Lucas are going to go up in smoke. No matter, he’s got a Plan B.

Abe and Roman confer about Tony’s transfer to a new prison and their plan to round up his henchman in the process. Tek arrives and announces there’s been a breech of security in Tony’s cellblock. Roman doesn’t flinch. Everything is going according to plan. Roman watches the prison security monitor and sees Bart with Tony. Then, the screen goes blank. Later, Tony emerges a free man via a manhole, but Roman and company are right on the scene. “Freeze,” shouts Roman, as the police draw their guns. Tony’s henchmen releases a gas that blinds the police, and Tony and Bart race off. Roman catches Tony, who warns that he’s just ruined the life of someone he loves.

Sami, who’s living in a fool’s paradise, believing her wedding is going to go off without a hitch, blurts out, “I have never been so happy.” “Too bad it’s not going to last,” retorts Nicole. Dressed in a beautiful white gown, Nicole says she’s going to stop Chloe and Brady’s wedding and Sami is going to help her. Sami refuses, so Nicole threatens to blow the secret that Sami was Stan. Sami calls Nicole’s bluff, insisting she has no proof. Besides, it’s all going to be destroyed in a matter of hours. “You’re still working for Tony DiMera,” deduces Nicole.

When John asks to speak to Alex privately, Sami tells Marlena she wants her and Roman to walk her down the aisle, tomorrow. Marlena says she can’t. She doesn’t know Lucas or Sami. Sami doesn’t take it well, upsetting Marlena. Then, she laces into John for letting that quack Dr. North into her mother’s life. Lucas pulls Sami away before she causes a bigger scene.

Nicole approaches Kate and tries to coerce her into stopping Chloe from marrying Brady. In turn, Nicole promises to help Kate permanently destroy Sami. Victor happens upon Kate and Nicole and instructs Nicole to leave — pronto!

Brady tells Lucas he’s worried Chloe’s going to get cold feet and skip out on their wedding. At the cottage, Nancy tells Chloe to get dressed, but Chloe wants to wait until she finds out if her scars are healed. If they’re not, she can’t get married. Dr. Travis arrives and it’s the moment of truth. Well, not exactly. Chloe decides not to remove her bandages until right before the ceremony.

Nancy and Chloe arrive at the church and Chloe heads to the bride’s room. Nancy tells Craig she’s still worried about Chloe going through with the ceremony; then, goes to see her daughter. When Nancy asks Chloe about her scars, she raises her veil. “Oh my God,” says a stunned Nancy.

Matron of honor, Belle, and best man, Shawn, make their way down the aisle to the altar and both fantasize about marrying each other. The wedding march begins and a veiled Chloe walks towards Brady. Slowly, Brady raises her veil…
