Happy Thanksgiving from Soap Opera Digest and Weekly! Check back for your recaps on Monday.

Belle visited Max at the garage and showed him the newspaper photo that Kate
believes is of Philip. Max wasn’t so sure it was him. Belle blamed herself
for Philip returning to combat. No way, said Max, insisting it wasn’t her
fault. Max suggested they call Shawn and Mimi to look at the photo.

Victor took care of an injured Philip at the manse. Philip looked at a photo
of Claire longingly. A nurse came in with pain meds. Victor told his son to
dream of having Claire in his arms again and that he would make it happen.
“I know I’ve let you down in the past, but I promise I won’t do it again,”
Vic vowed.

Abby, Nick, Chelsea and Mimi helped Maggie decorate Chez Rouge for
Thanksgiving. Nick received a formal invite to the Bradys holiday
celebration. Chelsea and Mimi felt left out. “I’m a Brady by blood and they
completely dissed me,” pouted Chelsea, who then noted that she just wanted
Bo and Billie to be together. Maggie overheard and warned her that it was
faulty thinking. “Maggie’s right: Family isn’t all it’s cracked up to be,”
Mimi added, noting that the Bradys weren’t such a happy clan. Nick suggested
Chelsea pull her life together so she wouldn’t be so worried about everyone
else’s. “You have no right to talk to me like that,” Chelsea declared. Nick
told her that at 19, she should have a job and be living with friends.
Chelsea warned him to steer clear of her. She then asked Abby how she could
get invited to Thanksgiving at the Bradys. Be my guest, suggested Nick.
“Like a date?” Chelsea grimaced. Nick said that he was invited with a guest,
so she can be his guest, not a date. “Crashing my dad’s party on the arm of
a geek,” Chelsea wondered aloud. He pointed out that he could rescind the
invite. They argued. “This sucks. I should be inviting you; not the other
way around,” she said. She agreed to go, but advised him not to dress “like
a loser.” Chelsea left; Abby asked Nick if he was crazy taking Chelsea
because “you never know what she’s going to do.” Nick said he liked
Chelsea’s fire, then asked Abby to help give him a makeover.

At the Pub, the Bradys decorated for the holiday. Billie came by at Hope’s
behest. Hope said she had a message to Billie from Steve. Billie didn’t want
to hear it. Hope explained that Steve didn’t really get his memory back and
was just making Kayla believe that so she’d get better. Billie was stunned.
“I heard him tell her that he loved her and needed her,” Billie said. “How
could he do that to Kayla?” Billie admitted she still had feelings for him.
Hope urged her to be truthful with Steve. Billie accused Hope of pushing her
toward Steve to keep her away from Bo. Hope scoffed that Bo moved back in
and that wasn’t her motive. Billie apologized. Talk to Steve, Hope implored.
Billie thanked her and left…. Frankie told Shawn and Caroline that he got
a job opportunity in D.C. and would be moving back within the week. Frankie
explained he also had to leave his bad memories from Salem behind. He said
he hoped to find the love that Shawn and Caroline have. He asked for their
blessing for his move; they told him he has it. They hugged it out.

Bo went to Shawn’s and advised his son to stop working for EJ because he’s
behind the gloved hand crimes. Shawn laughed in his face and asked what
proof Bo had. Bo said he couldn’t share the specifics of what he knew. Bo
got a call and left.

Shawn and Mimi met up with Max and Belle. Shawn wasn’t swayed by Belle’s
worry over Philip, pointing out that he already saved him in combat once and
won’t do it again. “How can you talk about someone that way who was your
best friend?” a stung Belle asked. She and Shawn squabbled. She stormed out;
he followed. Shawn admitted that he was worried that Philip’s return would
mean he wouldn’t get to spend as much time with Claire. Belle accused him of
being jealous and selfish and should have more compassion for Philip. “Grow
up,” she sneered, then took off. Mimi overheard the whole exchange. She went
back into the garage and asked Max to help her find Philip. She thought they
should start with the photographer who took the photo. He asked why she was
doing it. She explained that she felt responsible for Philip leaving town.

Abe showed the tarot cards to Celeste. She said she didn’t know what they
meant. Abe thought she seemed fearful and asked her if everything was okay.
EJ took advantage of Mythic Communication’s TV station and made a
declaration live on air that he was being harassed by the cops and planned
to sue the department. He singled out Roman and Abe. They were peeved, as
was Kate, who didn’t like EJ taking liberties with their station. After the
press conference, EJ asked Kate if she ransacked his apartment on the cops
behalf. She admitted that John thought she might find something there. “You
took my ring, Kate… It has sentimental value,” he explained. She revealed
that the cops felt it linked him to the DiMeras. He claimed not to know that
family.

EJ came to the station with his sharp lawyer, who offered a deal: EJ will
drop the lawsuit as long as the investigation is brought to an immediate end
and that Roman and Abe go on air and clear EJ publicly. The cops balked. The
lawyer gave them three minutes to think it over. Abe sought out Celeste and
begged her for any info. She spied EJ and told Abe she couldn’t help him.
Roman and Abe apologized officially to Wells. After, EJ warned Celeste to
keep her mouth shut. Kate came by and said she would never trust Roman or
John again.

Chelsea and Billie met at the diner. Billie told her daughter that Kate was
having a catered Thanksgiving dinner at the suite. Chelsea said she couldn’t
come because Bo invited her to come to the Bradys. Billie didn’t believe it.
