Austin tried to talk to Sami about wedding plans, but she was distracted by thoughts of karma. Austin pooh-poohed her worry, since all of her bad stuff was in the past. He encouraged her to think good thoughts about their honeymoon, then got up from the table. He came back with a surprise for dessert.

“What do you mean you want to have a baby,” a confused Jennifer asked Abby. Abby ranted that she would have a baby who would always love her, then accused her mother of being a hypocrite by sleeping with Frankie in Jack’s bed. Abby stormed upstairs. Frankie came home. He and Jen discussed both Abby and Chelsea. Frankie said he thought Chelsea was going to jail. Abby checked out the Sluts of Salem blog in her room and saw the photos of her and Josh from earlier that night. Jennifer came upstairs. Abby told her mother that she hated her and wished that she was the one who had the incurable disease, not Jack, then plopped down on her bed in anger. Jen came back downstairs and vented to Frankie. He asked if she wanted to postpone the wedding, but she said no. They began to kiss. Abby came down and saw them.

In the clinic, Jack asked the doctor if the procedure was a success. The doc said it was too soon to tell, then encouraged Jack to call home and tell his family that he was alive. Jack wanted to wait to make sure the procedure worked. He fantasized about going home and reuniting with Jen.

On Morgan Island, a loving John told Marlena that he couldn’t wait to get her home to Salem. She was thrilled at the prospect.

Bo told Hope that he loves her more than ever. She said she loved him more than ever, too. “Then we can make it through this,” he enthused. Hope brought up Chelsea killing Zack and Bo lying. She added that Chelsea deserves to go to prison. “Because of her, our son has no future, no life.” Hope whispered. They rehashed the past few months. He said he couldn’t believe she asked for a divorce. Bo said maybe they should face the inevitable, which is that they belong together. “It’s you and me. Always has been. Always will be. All you have to do is believe that and we’re halfway there,” he pleaded. Hope’s cell phone rang and she went to take it. John came in to see how things were going and urged Bo to tell Hope about Chelsea’s trial date being moved up. Hope said that it was Jennifer on the phone, who revealed the trial date was moved up. Uh-oh. Hope lashed out at Bo for lying and keeping secrets. She accused him of deliberately not telling her so she couldn’t testify against Chelsea.

Shawn and Mimi went to the hospital to get the results of the preliminary in vitro tests. Lexie told them that they just had to wait to hear from the doctor. The newlyweds went to the nursery to wait and fantasized about having a son. Later, the doctor told them the egg had fertilized. They were overjoyed.

Abe and Lexie went to Chez Rouge. Sami followed Lexie into the bathroom to talk to her. Lexie noted that Sami accomplished her mission and that Austin had proposed. Sami told Lexie she was worried about her and brought up the breast cancer scare. Lexie insisted she didn’t have breast cancer. Sami, knowing that Alex may have messed with the tests, suggested that Lexie get retested. Lexie was outraged and said that Sami wanted her to have cancer. Sami tried to defend herself, but Lexie wouldn’t listen and stormed off. Back at the table, Austin asked Sami what was going on. Sami explained that she just wanted Lexie to be sure she was okay. “This is the Sami I love,” said Austin. Lexie was visibly angry when she returned to the table. Abe asked her what was wrong. She said it was about Sami, but didn’t elaborate. He noted that marriage to Austin might be good for Sami. Lexie remarked that Sami would screw it up.
