Shawn searched the homecoming party for Belle and John informed him that they’d driven her home to the loft and he should leave Belle alone. Belle entered the loft and found Mimi sitting there in the dark. Mimi explained that she wasn’t able to come clean with Rex about having to go to jail and Belle tearfully reported to her pal that Philip’s leg was amputated. Belle asked her friend to help her pack so she could go to her husband’s side. Back at the bash, Shawn admitted to Roman that he feared Belle might choose to stay with Philip, but he wasn’t going to give up like the way Roman gave up on Marlena. Shortly thereafter, John informed Marlena, Roman and Kate that there were three seats available on the military transport to Germany (the jet wasn’t ready yet). It was decided that John and Kate wold accompany Belle.
As their cell phone call continued, Tony threatened Sami that he’d make her pay and might get to her through her parents and Lucas. A short time later, Lucas walked in and asked who Sami was talking to. She pretended to be checking on Will and hastily ended the call. Lucas filled in Sami on Philip’s amputation and blamed it on Stan.
Brady was dubious of Nicole’s claim that Chloe was really dead and Tony set it up so that Brady would think he heard Chloe on the phone. Hidden in the bushes, Chloe listened in. Brady said that Chloe was the love of his life and a furious Nic raged about playing whore to Chloe’s Madonna. After pleading her case, Nicole walked away and hoped that Chloe wouldn’t come forward.
On the beach, Bo and Hope were at odds over whether Belle should be with Shawn or Philip. Bo pointed out that by encouraging Shawn to go after Belle, it put their son in the same role that Billie played in their marriage. Bo suggested they stay out of it.
Shawn headed to the loft, Belle told him he shouldn’t be there, but gave him a good-bye hug, which Kate spied.
Nicole received a call from Tony, who informed her that he knew she made sure the surgical equipment used for Chloe’s plastic surgery wasn’t sterilized, thus leading to the infection. Tony mentioned that his friend Stan was at the homecoming party, but without his disguise. After scanning Alice’s, it hit Nicole that Sami must be the culprit.
