In Salem, Shawn and Belle wheeled Philip back into the loft apartment. Belle welcomed her hubby home with a big kiss. Shawn was distraught. Kate told him to leave — and stay away.
At the penthouse, Marlena confessed to Roman that she’s pregnant with his baby. Before they could really discuss it, John arrived with a big bouquet of flowers for his wife. “Happy Anniversary,” he smiled, then told Roman he spoke with Kate about Sami. Roman left. John filled Marlena in about Shawn and Belle. Marlena remarked that Shawn was Belle’s first and true love and that she won’t get over him easily. Philip’s the better man for her, John insisted. John opened champagne and toasted to his bride. She didn’t drink the bubbly, which raised a red flag with John. “I want to be alone with you,” she whispered.
A thrilled Mimi, in a new, cute outfit, left prison with Rex and Patrick. When Rex and Mimi got back to the loft, Rex had a romantic dinner waiting. He popped open the champagne bottle and asked her what the secret she’s keeping is. Saved by the Belle, who called the loft and was surprised to hear Mimi’s voice. Rex and Mimi went across the hall and the gang had a happy reunion. Roman came by. Rex remarked that he was thrilled to have his parents together. Belle asked Shawn to leave. Roman privately agonized that he had to arrest his nephew.
At the makeout spot, Max asked Chelsea if she was crushing on Patrick. She defended Lockhart when Max called him a loser. Enough talk, he said, let’s get down to it. “You’re so romantic I can hardly stand it,” Chelsea retorted, then compromised and said she’d go “half way” not all the way with him. Patrick found them together and sternly lectured Max. Chelsea was super pleased. Patrick took her home.
Frankie spied Jack and Jen making out and told Jen that Jack is so lucky and that it’s nice to see how happy the Deverauxes are. A secretly ailing Jack had a pain attack in the kitchen, which an alarmed Abby witnessed. He played it off. Jen confessed to Frankie that Jack is acting a little weird.
