Chloe and Brady roll around in bed, revel in their delirious happiness and discuss her appointment with Dr. Travis. When Brady gets up to run the shower, Chloe mutters that she won’t be able to marry Brady if Dr. T. can’t fix her face. Later, Chloe arrives at Dr. T’s office. He tells her there’s a shot he may be able to fix her scarred face. Chloe’s happy, she’s always dreamed of marrying Brady, but not looking like a slasher movie victim.
Nicole rambles on to herself about getting rid of Chloe so she can get Brady back. Sami barges in and rambles on about her obsession: getting evidence that will prove Kate and Eugenia set her up with Brandon. Nicole says she won’t help Sami, unless Sami helps her get rid of Chloe. “I need Brady back,” says Nicole. Brady enters on cue and says that’s never going to happen, as Sami hides. Brady hates Nicole for lying to him and is blissfully happy with Chloe. In fact, they’ve been “together” morning, noon and night, since they reunited. (Talk about stamina!) Brady tells Nicole he wants her out of the mansion. Oh, and one more thing, the Titan board voted to remove her from her job. So that would make her homeless AND unemployed. Brady goes on about how vile Nicole is and mentions the imposter nurse that brought unsterilized instruments into Chloe’s last surgery. He wonders if Nicole would go that far. Nicole denies it. Brady swears there will be hell to pay if he finds out Nicole lied. When Brady leaves, Sami emerges. Nicole says Brady can never find out what happened in that operating room. And Sami has to help, since she helped plot the whole thing. Realizing that they have the goods on each other, Nicole and Sami agree to work as a team. First up: nailing Kate and Eugenia. And Nicole tells Sami her plan…
When Chloe and Brady return home, she tells him that she’s considering another go at reconstructive surgery. She’ll make her decision soon. In the meantime, Chloe announces that she’s made a decision about something else and asks Brady to marry her.
Kate hears Roman talking on the phone to Lexie about Marlena’s condition and tells him she feels like she’s married to a junkie, because he’s addicted to Doc. The pair go another round about Roman making love to Marlena while they were Tony’s captives. Kate asks Roman point blank, “Are you still in love with Marlena?” Roman assures Katie, he loves HER. Still, she harps some more on the Marlena situation. Roman wonders if Kate will ever be able to forgive his affair with Marlena and the fact that she was pregnant. Kate says it will take time. And, no doubt, lots more nagging at Roman.
Belle awakens to find that Philip has surprised her with a gourmet breakfast from Chez Rouge. Too bad he forgot that she’s suffering from morning sickness. Belle and Philip discuss how badly she feels spilling the beans about Mimi’s abortion to Rex. Philip’s curious what Mimi meant last night, when she told Belle, “Payback’s a bitch!” Belle says Mimi’s upset and not thinking rationally. Still, Belle’s worried that she might have lost her best friend. Philip cheers Belle up with a gift for their new baby, a baby book, and Belle gets all teary-eyed. Philip says their future together is going to be perfect.
Mimi, who’s still hurting and blaming Belle for losing Rex, spreads the doom and gloom around by telling Shawn that Belle will never leave Philip now that she’s pregnant with “a little Kiriakis prince or princess.” Shawn wants to go over to Belle’s apartment and end the charade right now, but Mimi convinces him not to. Shawn’s at his wit’s end. It’s hard living across the hall from Belle and Philip. Mimi tells him to wake up and smell the coffee. He’s lost Belle forever! Shawn, who’s seeing the situation through the rosiest rose-colored glasses ever, insists he and Belle will be together.
