A naked Chelsea rips open the shower curtain and finds a startled Billie. “Where’s Patrick?” asks Chelsea. Billie, who’s hip to what Chelsea’s up to, tells her that Patrick moved to the master bedroom. She and Chelsea will now be sharing this bathroom. Chelsea’s bummed in a major way. She tells Abby that Billie wants Patrick for herself, but she won’t let that happen.

Patrick arrives at Jennifer’s to pick up the last of Billie’s things. Jennifer greets him warmly, but Jack tells him to get what he came for and split. Jennifer has an idea to celebrate Patrick, Billie and Chelsea moving in together and maybe help Patrick and Jack get along: throwing a housewarming party for the threesome.

In the Lockhart backyard, Bonnie, who’s on a high thinking Mickey has chosen her over Maggie, greets the Deveraux family, Frankie, Max, Billie, Chelsea and Patrick. Jennifer tells Frankie she’s hoping this party will help Jack relax. Meanwhile, Jack chastises Billie for moving in with Patrick. When Frankie runs into Patrick, he reiterates that he’s sure he knows him from somewhere and vows to figure out where. The tension between Jack and Patrick escalates and Patrick offers to have it out with him, right there. Jack is all for the idea, until he gets lightheaded.

Max tells Chelsea he’s figured out that Patrick is her dream guy. Too bad he doesn’t know she’s alive. When Chelsea spies Patrick, she tells him she’s going to show Max her new room. Patrick doesn’t think that’s a good idea. He pulls slick Max aside and warns him to stay away from Chelsea. Max isn’t deterred and heads upstairs to Chelsea’s bedroom with her and Abby. Billie and Patrick interrupt the fun and summon the teens back to the party.

At the hospital, Philip heads off to an appointment, while Belle gets a visit from Mimi. Mimi explains that she was just at the jailhouse visiting Shawn and tries to convince Belle that Shawn REALLY needs to see her. Belle’s against the idea and leaves to run some errands. Philip returns from therapy and tells Mimi it’s not right that Shawn is in jail, after all he did to rescue him. Philip says he’s going to talk to Judge Fitzpatrick on Shawn’s behalf.

Kate hands Judge Fitzpatrick a check to go towards her re-election campaign. Kate likes her ethics. She’s tough on crime AND she denied Shawn bail. Now if only Shawn could stay in jail for the rest of his life. Judge Fitzpatrick says she can’t guarantee that. The judge’s cell phone rings, and it’s Philip offering yet another bribe. Only Philip wants the judge to consider releasing Shawn on bail. The judge relents, to Kate’s dismay, and says that Shawn will be released, that day.

Lucas visits Shawn in the slammer. When he tells Shawn it’s not fair that the judge wouldn’t grant him bail, Shawn suggests that Kate is probably behind the whole thing. The revolving door of visitors to Shawn’s jail cell continues. Belle arrives and Shawn pulls her into a passionate kiss. Belle pulls away and says they can’t do this; she is married to Philip. When Philip arrives Belle is uncomfortable, but Philip tells her there’s no reason. Shawn’s their friend. Philip announces he has good news. He’s spoken to the judge. Shawn is going to be released on bail.

Curious about his mother’s involvement in Shawn’s jail stay, Lucas arrives at Basic Black to visit her, and finds Sami there. Having just returned from snooping around Eugenia’s apartment, Sami announces she’s there to clean out her desk and look for evidence against Kate. She knows that Kate was in cahoots with Eugenia to set her up with Brandon. Sami peruses Kate’s phone messages and notices all these calls from Eugenia. She shows them to Lucas and asks if he believes her now. Kate emerges from her office and Lucas asks her about the calls from Eugenia. While Kate tries to talk her way out of it, Judge Fitzpatrick exits her office and Lucas is stunned. Was Shawn right about his mom all along? Kate thinks fast and says she was talking to the judge about getting Shawn released from jail. Confused, Lucas tells Sami he can’t believe his mother tried to ruin his life, and Sami totally understands. Still, Sami swears she’ll get the goods on Kate, even if it kills her.
