Max came to the garage, surprised to find the door unlocked and the lights on. Turns out, Abby was under a car, fixing it. She explained that she came to pick up her books and saw how backed up he was, so she pitched in. “Face it, Max, you need me more than either of us realized,” she said. They engaged in some flirty banter. Max took her hand and told her how much he appreciated her helping him out. She went to get changed, remarking that Mimi was probably on her way over. Max said she wasn’t, so he invited Abby to go out to eat with him. They went to Chez Rouge. He told her about Mimi’s father’s skeleton and admitted that it was tough to be with Mimi and all of her drama. Abby admitted she had been jealous of Max and Mimi and was sorry for being “bratty”. Max was surprised to hear that she had been jealous. She then revealed she had a huge crush on him then. Max apologized for not having noticed. They talked about him quitting racing. He admitted he was scared that he could make a mistake and hurt someone on the track. She gave him some good advice. “Has anyone ever told you how smart you are?” he praised, then took her hand and thanked her for coming to dinner. He then revealed that he had had a crush on her, too, after he and Chelsea split up. “No way,” she said. He said that he worried there was too much of an age difference between them (six years) and she was Chelsea’s best friend, so he held back. “I’m beginning to wonder if that wasn’t a huge mistake,” he admitted.

Nick and Billie got the apartment, but Chelsea wasn’t home. Nick lamented that his lies caused so much drama and worried that Chelsea wouldn’t be his friend anymore. “Chelsea is not going to hate you forever,” Billie insisted. She said that Chelsea responded to Nick’s words, not Dr. Patton’s. Nick asked why it was important to Billie for him to be in Chelsea’s life. Billie explained that he was good for her and helped her become the person Billie knew she could be.

At the Brady house, Chelsea denied that she helped Patrick. Bo was furious; Hope tried to talk him down. “I’ll never make the mistake of believing you again,” Bo said. Chelsea explained what happened with Patrick and that she didn’t intentionally help him. Bo still wouldn’t believe her and told her she wasn’t welcome in their home anymore. Hope asked to talk to him privately, but he wouldn’t. Chelsea begged him to stay in her life. “Chelsea, how many chances have I given you?” he said softly. He then went to the door, “I want you out of my house and never come back. Get out before I throw you out,” he yelled. After Chelsea left, Hope called Billie to tell her what happened. Bo and Hope had a serious discussion about Chelsea. Hope urged him to make amends with his daughter. “We talked tonight like we have never talked before…. She’s really sorry,” Hope told him.

Nick and Chelsea went to the garage, thinking Chelsea was going to meet Abby. Billie took her weeping daughter in her arms. Chelsea yelled at Nick to get out when he came in. He left. Billie comforted Chelsea and then the women went home to eat chocolate. Nick returned to the hospital and ran into Dr. Rebert. He revealed that Chelsea hated him. Dr. R said not to worry; another girl would come along.
