At The Brady Pub, Bo phoned home and got the answering machine. He asked Hope to pick up if she was there. Hope was, but she didn’t respond. Instead, she just sobbed on her bed, clinging to Zack’s teddy bear. In another booth, Belle met up with John and told him that he HAD to stop Marlena from remarrying Alex and
going on a long honeymoon. John filled Belle in on what happened
to Lois and how he believed Alex killed her and that Marlena was next on his list. “You think Mom’s life is in danger?” gasped Belle. John assuring Belle that Marlena was safe, for now. He didn’t think Alex would make his move until the honeymoon, which
John was determined NEVER to let happen. They kissed goodbye and
Belle left. Then, John went over to Bo and asked for his help in clearing his name and nailing Alex for killing Lois. Bo said he was sorry, but he didn’t think he could help. He was on leave
from the police force; plus, he had his own issues to deal with. Soon, John got a call from the morgue, saying that Lois’ autopsy report was in. John noted that he hoped it would show she was murdered and headed off.
Marlena fretted about Alex, who was decked by John, again. Soon the doorbell rang, and Alex announced it was his latest surprise. In ran Calliope, babbling on about how much she’d
missed Marlena. Of course, Marlena didn’t recognize her. “Amnesia?” said Calliope. “I thought that kind of thing only happens on soaps.” When Alex left to let the two women chat, Calliope asked who he was. “My husband,” said Marlena. Calliope
couldn’t believe Marlena was choosing Alex over John. “You were so much in love,” she noted. Marlena said the John she knew scared her. When Calliope defended John, Marlena asked if he’d
sent her there to do his bidding. Calliope assured Marlena that Alex called her. After handing Marlena a stack of magazines and sketches to look at, Calliope headed off to another appointment. Belle arrived and told Marlena that she read about her wedding to Alex in the paper and it absolutely couldn’t happen.
All gussied up after getting the works at the spa, Bonnie arrived at Mimi and Shawn’s loft, where they were spatting about their upcoming nuptials. Mimi said that getting married so quickly was a bad idea. She and Shawn were overwhelmed with the preparations. Bonnie told them not to fret, she and Kate would take care of everything. Patrick arrived to tell Mimi he was
leaving town, which upset her. Bonnie attempted to cheer Mimi up, by telling her she’d hired a wedding planner. In fact, she was on her way to the loft any minute. Shawn left to go check on Hope, while Patrick departed, too. Soon, Calliope arrived, and she and
Bonnie immediately hit it off. Bonnie assured Mimi that with Calliope onboard nothing could possibly go wrong.
Chelsea remembered Patrick making plans to go to Morgan Island and wondered how she could get Hope to go there, too, as she entered Jennifer’s house carrying flowers. Chelsea told Abby the flowers were for Hope. She was thinking about taking them to
her stepmother. The only problem was Hope hated her guts after what happened to Zack. Chelsea manipulated Abby into agreeing to
deliver the flowers to Hope AND suggesting that she get away for
awhile to Morgan Island.
Abby arrived at Hope’s and handed her the bouquet, noting that they were a peace offering from Chelsea. Hope tossed them into the trash. “If Chelsea sent you here to plead her case,
you’re wasting your time,” warned Hope. Abby apologized for upsetting Hope. Then, she suggested that perhaps Hope should go away for a while to Morgan Island. Hope agreed to think about it, and Abby left. When Abby returned home, Chelsea pumped her for information about what went down with Hope. Chelsea was thrilled
to learn Hope was considering taking the bait and going to the same island as Patrick. Meanwhile, Shawn arrived at Hope’s and she confided how hard it was to be in her own house. There were memories of Zack everywhere. Hope said she was thinking about
going away to Morgan Island.
Alex entered the morgue and pulled out Lois’ body so they could chat. He told her he knew she was dead, since he was the one who did her in, but he had no choice once she started
blabbing to John. At least now no one would find out what he was up to until it was too late to save Marlena.
