At the Pub, Philip and Shawn began drinking heavily. Philip reminded Shawn that as a Kiriakis, he would have pull in court during a custody hearing. “I’m a Kiriakis, too, Uncle Phil” Shawn smirked. Philip put the radio on and asked what the song was. “It’s the song Belle and I danced to at the last dance,” Shawn replied. “Of course it is. Wherever I go, I can’t get away from Shawn and Belle’s greatest hits,” a drunken Philip laughed bitterly. The two engaged in a drinking contest. “I’m not losing to you. Not now. Not ever,” Philip insisted, in between shots of tequila, then fell down on the floor. He asked Shawn to help him up, but Shawn was too drunk to do it. They both started laughing. Shawn told Philip he had everything, a job, a baby, then he trailed off. “You were going to say Belle,” Phil said. ‘I have everything but one thing. My left leg,” Phil joked. They erupted in laughter. Shawn began chugging from the bottle. Lisa, the bartender/waitress, found them and told the boys to take a hike and offered to call them a cab.
At the loft, Mimi and Belle continued their discussion about Shawn and Philip. Belle insisted the baby she was carrying would not ruin Shawn and Mimi’s marriage. “There’s only one person who can do that and that’s you,” Belle pointed out. Belle took Claire and went looking for Philip. Mimi went to search for Shawn.
Abby went over to Chelsea’s and asked what the big secret she found in the file room was about. Chelsea revealed that the file contained test results that showed someone in town is not the biological father of a certain baby. Abby asked who Chelsea was talking about, but Chelsea wouldn’t say. Chelsea considered holding onto the information until it benefited her to tell the truth. Abby urged her to do the right thing. Billie came in at that point and asked what Abby was talking about. “My community service,” Chelsea lied.
Bo and Caroline went to visit Hope. Bo asked Hope to go to Sami’s wedding with him. Hope said no, they’re getting divorced and that’s a family function. Caroline left so they could discuss it alone. Hope railed at Bo for bringing his mother into it. Bo countered that it was Caroline’s idea. “Why pretend we’re together when we’re not and never will be again,” Hope asked. Bo pointed out that he never wanted a divorce and that Chelsea was the one who interfered. Don’t blame Chelsea, Hope argued. Bo vowed to make Chelsea realize the gravity of what she did, then vowed to get Hope back. Hope smiled after he left.
Bo came to Billie’s apartment, saying he needed to speak to Chelsea. “Uh-oh, what did she do,” Billie asked. “She ruined my friggin’ marriage,” Bo replied. He told Billie about the e-mail snafu. Billie was stunned. Chelsea came out to find her angry parents. “What’s wrong?” Chelsea asked. “You are,” Bo spat. Bo tore into his daughter for what she did. “You took my son from me. Did you have to take my wife, too?” he said angrily. Chelsea said she did it because she was scared she’d go to jail. Bo told her she belonged there. “This makes me sick and ashamed that I ever stood up for you,” he said. “The things I did for you. I lied to protect you…. I forgave you. I believed in you, over and over again. But no more, until you can prove to me that you can be a decent person. Until then, I wash my hands of you.” Chelsea grabbed her bag and took off.
Mimi ran into Hope on the docks. She explained she was looking for Shawn. Hope was teary; Mimi asked her mother-in-law if she was okay. Hope explained she was thinking about things. Mimi told Hope about the fight she and Shawn had earlier and that she was scared what Shawn might do. Hope offered to help her look for him.
Belle went to the garage and found Abby there. She asked if Philip or Shawn had been by. No, Abby replied.
A blitzed Shawn and Philip returned to the loft singing, “No bottles of beer on the wall…” Mimi yelled at them both for worrying her and Belle. Shawn came inside with her; Phil went into his loft. Shawn passed out on the couch. Mimi realized he was unconscious.
Chelsea went to the garage to talk to Abby. The weepy teen told her pal that Bo disowned her. “He just abandoned me. My own father,” she cried. “It’s called tough love,’ Abby said, then noted that actions speak louder than words. At that point, Belle came out of the bathroom with Claire. “Maybe this is my chance to do the right thing,” Chelsea said.
