Mimi and Shawn and Belle and Philip both reveled in their romantic getaways at Green Mountain Lodge, each couple unaware that the other was there. In the dining room, both husbands ordered expensive bubbly. Belle declined since she’s been in baby-making mode for the last few hours…. Mimi drank up, but when Shawn mentioned their future children, it hit a nerve and she expressed regret that she won’t be able to give birth. The serious talk was interrupted by Belle and Philip, who stopped by to say hello and volunteer the TMI that they were there to make another baby. Mimi frowned until Shawn presented a surprise: an application to adopt. Then it was Belle’s turn to pout.
On Morgan Island, Hope told Patrick about blocking Bo’s instant messages and revealed that she’d fled Salem after spotting her husband in bed with Billie. Her spirits sank further when she got an electronic reminder about Zack’s dental appointment. To cheer her up, Patrick invited her to a posh hotel casino, and she accepted. Patrick even produced an outfit for her to wear and a wad of cash to gamble with. Hope slipped into a low-cut black dress and Daddy Warbucks cleaned up nicely in a white tuxedo jacket. Back in Salem, Billie visited a despondent Bo, who reported his wife had shut him out. She urged him not to give up, but Bo insisted that the situation was, um, Hopeless. Adorable flashbacks to his early days with Hope ensued. Awww. Bo started drinking much to Billie’s chagrin and she was alarmed when he went out for more booze. She warned him not to drink and ride his motorcycle, but he claimed he had nothing to live for and took off with her in pursuit.
As Lucas and Carrie danced at Dune, she couldn’t keep her thoughts off Austin. Nearby, Sami and drunk Lexie traded threats and it escalated until Austin broke up the row. A sobbing Lex started badmouthing Sami to him, but Austin assumed it was because of her health scare and inebriated state. Tek tried to take Lex home, but she refused to leave without exposing Sami. He came up with an idea and returned in a few moments with the sexy Jada who he said could help Lexie get even with Sami and reunite Carrie and Austin. Jada announced to the crowd that Dune would sponsor a charity handcuff dance. Random couples would be matched up to engage in “dirty dancing.” Jada picked dancing partners and paired Carrie with Austin. Carrie was reluctant, but Jada pushed her into it by reminding her it’s for charity. Tek pulled out the handcuffs and Carrie forgot her inhibitions and showed off some suggestive dance moves. A jealous Sami fumed and made a call. Cops soon arrived at the club for a suspected drug bust, which brought the dancing to a halt. Sami smiled to herself.
