Bo and Billie feared that Chelsea wouldn’t recover from the car crash or from her parents getting killed in it. Bo assurred Billie that she and Patrick handled the situation the best they could. Meanwhile, Patrick also told Hope that she’s blameless for Chelsea’s condition. “Why are you taking my side?” Hope wondered. “I’m not taking sides,” he explained. Later, Lexie told the gang that Chelsea’s condition was serious making Billie point the finger at Hope. “How could you ruin that girl’s life?” she asked Hope. “Your ridiculous jealousy caused two deaths tonight.” “Don’t talk to my wife like that,” Bo admonished Billie. Patrick then pointed out to Bo that Hope’s jealousy is understandble since Bo always goes to help Billie. Billie was concerned about Chelsea being alone and had a flashback to visiting Georgia’s grave. Billie was thrown when she ffound a bloody sweater in Chelsea’s bag that says “Georgia” on it… Rex, Shawn, Brady and Lucas continued their quest to rescue Philip. When Rex discovered a problem on the Web site they’d been accessing, Lucas feared that John had gotten wind of their plan and shut them down….

While putting the finishing touches on her moustache, Sami/Stan told herself that Brady would never be able to rescue Phil….

An imprisoned Phil became all shifty-eyed as he sensed something was going on; he vowed to escape….

Belle feared that Shawn and Rex could be risking their lives and urged Mimi to help her stop them. “It could be a suicide mission,” Belle lamented. After, Belle broke down as she and Mimi watched a video-taped good-bye message from Shawn saying how much he loves Belle….

Bo became suspicious when Shawn called him and he heard a plane in the background of where Shawn was….

John lashed out at Kate when he realized that the young men were attempting to find Philip….

Sami/Stan received a mysterious letter with directions to Phil’s whereabouts. Thursday, April 21, 2005
Chloe prayed that her surgery would be a success. Brady came by the church, too, and exchanged words with the cloaked chanteuse. He prayed for Philip and then for Chloe. She stuck around to hear what he had to say….

Stan visited the Kiriakis mansion and suggested that Nicole prevent Chloe from having reconstructive surgery to “keep her looking like Frankenstein’s daughter.” Nicole was wary of teaming up with Shady Stan. He gave her a nurse’s disguise and badge to sneak into the hospital….

Kate warned the Philip Four that their mission was too dangerous, then admitted to Lucas privately that it didn’t matter to her if Shawn and Brady got killed. She then clarified what she meant and said she wouldn’t care as much if they died, but would be devastated if something happened to Philip and Lucas. She and Lucas exchanged heated words. “Should we wait for those guys to kill him or do you want him home,” Lucas yelled. Shawn secretly made a good-bye video for Belle….

A panicked Mimi told Belle about what happened with Tek at Jan’s country house. Rex told Mimi he was going on a “field trip” and would be unreachable. He felt she seemed relieved that he’d be out of touch. Not true, she insisted. Belle didn’t understand why Shawn was leaving, then realized he was going on a rescue mission. Shawn said that he knew he couldn’t save Philip on his own, but didn’t mention that he could if he had help. Before Brady left on the trip, he and Nicole exchanged I love yous. … Bo was angry that Hope didn’t tell him that Billie called for help from the accident scene. “What part of ‘It’s an emergency’ didn’t you understand?” Billie spat. Bo and Billie blamed Hope for Chelsea’s parents’ death. If she had told Bo about the accident, he could have called EMS to get them on the scene faster, which would have saved the Bensons’ lives, Billie explained. Hope felt terrible and apologized over and over. A furious Billie laid it on thick to make her feel worse, then blabbed to Jen what Hope did. Jen was very upset Hope didn’t tell Bo, especially since Abby’s life was at stake, too. Wednesday, April 20, 2005
Brady, Rex, Shawn and Lucas broke into John’s office to use his secret ISA spy equipment. Kate caught them and demanded an explanation….

Lexie told Patrick, Jen and Billie that Mrs. Benson didn’t make it. Bo and Hope basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking. Patrick called Hope and Bo to tell them about Abby and Chelsea. The Bradys went to the hospital. Patrick took Hope to see Jen; Bo comforted Billie. “What’s going to happen if Chelsea loses both of her parents?” Jen lamented. Cut to: Billie and Bo and Lexie, who revealed that Chelsea’s father died in surgery. Billie took the news especially hard, then explained that she promised Mrs. Benson she would take care of Chelsea if somehting happened to her. Billie okayed Chelsea’s surgery. “If it was Georgia in there, I’d want someone to do the same for her,” Billie told Bo. Hope was dismayed to see Bo hugging Billie. Billie blamed everything on Hope because she wouldn’t take Billie’s call earlier….

Roman was injured in the castle collapse. Jack saved him. Outside Marlena and Cassie worried about the men. Roman discovred a cell phone in the rubble. “That could come in handy,” he remarked. The ladies were overjoyed when Jack and Roman got out of the castle. Bart blabbed to Victor and Caroline that Jack, Cassie, Marlena and Roman had been there the whole time. Caroline was trapped under rubble. Victor offered to pay Bart to help her get out. “Don’t leave us here to burn… at least not Caroline, leave me here to burn,” he pleaded. Victor then declared that Caroline would always be the love of his life. A moved, teary Bart helped Victor get Caroline out, then searched for Tony in the debris. He spied his hand and said, “No, sir. You can’t be dead.” (Knowing the DiMeras ability to survive the most awful accidents, he’s probably right.) … Nicole and Sami/Stan exchanged words outside the Kiriakis mansion. When Sami/Stan called Nicole a whore, she slapped him. Who the hell do you think you are?” she said. “Your worst nightmare now,” “he” countered….

Over Bonnie’s protests, Mimi came clean with Tek that what happened with Jan was an accident. “I waived my rights because I have nothing to hide. I’m going to tell Tek the truth, all of it.” That truth included the fact that Mimi aborted her baby and Jan found out and blackmailed her. “I hated her and I wanted her dead,” Mimi admitted. Tek said he wasn’t arresting her, then added that his never-before mentioned sister had been blackmailed, too. If Jan dies, however, Mimi will be arrested for attempted murder, he said.Tuesday, April 19, 2005
Jen decorated the house for Abby’s surprise 17th birthday party. Patrick came by and told Jen that Abby was in a car accident. The worried duo rushed to the ER. At the crash site, Billie fought with the EMTs to save Chelsea. Desperate, Billie performed CPR. “Come back to me, Chelsea,” she pleaded. Chelsea started breathing again. Lexie arrived on the scene and tended to Mrs. Benson, while Billie checked in on Chelsea. “Mom, is that you,” Chelsea asked Billie. Everyone went to the hospital to await the fates of the Bensons, Chelsea and Abby. “I’m sorry, we lost her,” Lexie announced to Billie at the end of the show. A freaked-out Jen thought she was talking about Abby… Mimi brought chocolates for Jan, which Bonnie quickly took for herself, saying she didn’t want to waste good drugstore chocolates on that girl. Bonnie told Mimi to leave the hospital for fear it would make her look guilty. “You watch LAW AND ORDER. The perp always returns to the scene of the crime.” Mimi insisted it was an accident; Tek once again questioned Mimi. Bonnie angrily told him to back off her daughter. Mimi then recalled that Jan had a tell-all diary and realized she had to get it. Bonnie and Mimi went to Jan’s country house, where a clever Tek was waiting for them. “Mimi Lockhart, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Jan Spears,” he said….

Rex, Brady and Shawn asked Lucas to join their merry band of Philip rescuers. “Isn’t that a job for the military or the ISA,” Lucas wisely asked. Brady revealed that the plan requires four men and they need him. After considering how it would affect Will, Lucas reluctantly agreed to go….

In the burning castle, Victor and Caroline were trapped in their smoke-filled room. They broke a window to try and escape, but couldn’t. Bart realized he had to save the two — and did. Elsewhere in the castle, Jack, Cassie, Marlena and Roman tried to make their way out.Monday, April 18, 2005
Nicole worried about how Brady would react to the news that Chloe is alive. She overheard the boys’ plan to save Philip and panicked that Brady would be hurt. She also cried about how he upset her at the memorial service by proposing to Chloe’s urn. “That was about me moving forward with my life,” Brady explained. “When I get back, I plan to ask you a very important question.” Nicole didn’t want to wait. She got down on one knee and proposed to Brady. He said it was “sweet” but wanted to do it in his own way….

With Billie out of the house, Bo and Hope made passionate love. In the car, Patrick told Billie he knew her heart was with Bo when they had sex. “Just like yours was with Jennifer Horton,” she countered. Later, Billie said, “I have this terrible feeling that something bad is going to happen to Georgia before I get a chance to see her.” Cut to: Chelsea, Abby and Chelsea’s parents in a car accident. Patrick and Billie found the car and called 911. Patrick tended to Abby. Billie called Hope looking for Bo, but Hope told her to call 911 if she had an emergency, then hung up on her before Billie could tell her that Abby was injured. When 911 was going to be delayed, Patrick lied that the mayor’s wife was in an accident and suddenly, the EMT crew was on the scene. Chelsea’s mom begged Billie to watch over Chelsea. Patrick called Lexie to help. Bo came home from picking up Chinese food and asked Hope if anyone called. Just Jen, Hope lied….

Jack and Roman saved Marlena and Cassie from the burning room in the castle. They were nearly stopped by Tony and Bart. Tony was injured. Marlena told Tony that he deserved to suffer. In the fiery mess, Tony fell through the floor while the others looked on, screaming… Jennifer made a cake for Abby’s 17th birthday and had happy memories of Jack.
