Lexie and Abe’s alarm went off at 7 a.m. They snuggled in bed. Lexie tried to make it more amorous, and leaned in for a kiss. Things got carried away, but Abe stopped it and said that the Commissioner wants to see him. Lexie tried to get him back to bed, but he wouldn’t go. She reminded him that intimacy is about more than sex and that they could work through his impotence. He apologized for not “being there” for her and thanked her for her patience. She flashed back to having sex with Tek. Lexie got frisky again, but it just made Abe angry. “All I want is to be able to make love to my wife,” he explained. Lexie put on her robe and felt a pain on the left side of her breast. Celeste came over and told Lexie that they had to discuss her affair with Tek. Lexie hushed her mom, since Abe was upstairs. Lexie said she wanted her marriage to work, but it had been hard. Abe brought Theo down to see his grandmother, then got ready to leave for work. “Be careful out there,” Lexie said, then went upstairs to shower. Once alone, Celeste asked Abe how things were going. He said they were having a rough patch, but wanted to work through it. Celeste sensed something was wrong with Lexie and pulled out the tarot cards.
On the boat, Hope woke up and imagined Bo in her bed. “Morning, lover boy,” she said, then kissed him. She realized it was Patrick, apologized and explained she thought he was Bo. She asked what he was doing in bed with her. He explained that there is only one bed and he got tired and shared it. She went to check her e-mail. On the Salem Chronicle Online site, there was a front page story about Bo, Billie and Chelsea with the headline, “Salem family reunited!” Hope watched the news coverage from the night before and was less than thrilled to see Bo and Billie hugging. Hope called Mickey and told him that she wants to divorce Bo.
In the hospital, Chelsea dreamed about her messing in Bo and Hope’s marriage. Bo blamed himself for what happened with Chelsea. “I have to think before I open my friggin’ mouth,” he noted to Billie. Bo realized he had a lot of amends to make, including with Chelsea. “You’re wrong, dad,” Chelsea, who was now up, said. “I’m the one who should be apologizing to you. If it weren’t for me, you and Hope would still be together.” She nearly came clean about the e-mail business, but Bo hushed her. She said her life flashed before her eyes when she was down in the manhole and tried to think of a reason her life was worth saving after all of the bad things she’d done. “I wasn’t thinking about anybody but myself,” Chelsea understated. She said she wanted to make things right between him and Hope and tell him all the things he didn’t know. The nurse came in before she could elaborate. Bo went out and told Billie what Chelsea had said to him and noted that she sounded like a different person.
Maggie and Alice had breakfast together at Alice’s. Maggie remarked that she was watching Abby and Jack, Jr. “Where’s Jennifer Rose,” asked Alice. Maggie told her that Frankie and Jen were on a romantic getaway. Frankie and Jennifer woke up at the Green Mountain Lodge and basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking. She told him she loved him. He said it back. He had to go back to work, so she asked who should shower first. He suggested they do it together. No, she laughed, then said she had to call Maggie. Maggie asked if she was having a good time. Yes, Jen replied, even though she still misses Jack. But she feels like Jack wanted her to move on and that she feels lucky to have found Frankie. She worried that it was all too good to be true. Alice got on the phone and encouraged Jen to follow her heart. Jen flashed back to her teen years with Frankie, then joined him in the shower. They got even more lovey-dovey. After, they got dressed and Frankie asked where they go from here.
