DAYS Honors Suzanne Rogers
The DAYS family gathered on the set yesterday to celebrate Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) marking 40 years in Salem. "It doesn't feel like 40 years because I love what I do, and I love the people that I work with," Rogers said. "It's a joy for me to drive onto the lot every day to get back to work. A lot of people have come into my life. A lot of good people. And a lot of people have left my life, which is very sad for me…. [Executive Producer] Ken Corday is the salt of the earth. He's kept me on the show when writers have not wanted me to be here." Added Corday, "Suzanne is like a big sister to me. She's someone I can go to in times when my heart is heavy or in times of celebration, like when we won the Daytime Emmy a few months ago. I remember the first hand that I grabbed was Suzanne's."
