A Day at the Beach With Ingo Rademacher

Comments

Members of The Official Ingo Rademacher (Jax, GENERAL HOSPITAL) Fan Club showed their support of their favorite star when they pitched in to help him clean up the Santa Monica Bay. Here’s their story, according to Hulda and Linda H.:

After a busy day filming GENERAL HOSPITAL on June 3, Ingo Rademacher headed to the Santa Monica Pier for the 13th Annual Bring Back the Beach benefit dinner sponsored by Heal the Bay where he was greeted by 975 people. Ingo was joined by his parents and his manager, along with several of his 4000-plus fan club members who came across the United States and Canada to see Ingo and be part of this important evening.

Mark Gold, executive director for Heal the Bay, stated that, “Heal the Bay has been at the forefront of cleaning up Santa Monica Bay and making Southern California coastal waters safe and healthy for people and marine life.”

Ingo is a board member of Heal the Bay and was one of the speakers for the evening. Others included director Garry Marshall, Ken Howard (CROSSING JORDAN), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (SEINFELD), Wendie Malick (JUST SHOOT ME), and more. Other guests included Jack Klugman (THE ODD COUPLE) and Hector Elizondo (RAISING HELEN). The event raised an overwhelming $550,000.

There was a silent and live auction. Several of Ingo’s Angels won a marina kayak tour and lunch with him. All Ingo Fan Club members (Angels) present visited with Ingo and his parents and his manager Todd.
The evening was wonderful, and we look forward to next year’s event.
