Cool Rider
Though his GH character often schemes to control parents Carly and Sonny, Dylan Cash‘s (Michael) latest project, The Polar Express, is sugar and spice and everything nice.
Cash plays a child on an exciting journey in the computer-generated adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg’s holiday tale, The Polar Express. “A train comes to a boy’s house and he gets on. Then the train goes to the North Pole and all the kids meet Santa. I’m on the train to meet Santa,” explains Cash.
To create a digital image of Cash for the film, he worked entirely without other actors. “It was very hard,” he concedes, adding that his only interaction was with “the scanner and the guys controlling it. They took pictures of the back of my hair and made a mold of my hand. I was gunky.”
The Polar Express opens nationwide Nov. 10. Also, look for Cash with Julie Andrews in the short film The Cat That Looked at a King available on the Mary Poppins 40th Anniversary Special Edition DVD, in stores Dec. 14.
