Charles Shaughnessy (Shane) will join Patsy Pease (Kimberly) back in Salem for November sweeps, confirms a show spokesperson. The actor, who last appeared in May, 2012, was open to the idea of a comeback, especially now that Shane and Kim's daughter Theresa (née Jeannie) is in town. "DAYS is a great bunch of people," Shaughnessy told Digest in the 8/5 issue. "If DAYS is interested, and they see some kind of story, or some way of having Shane involved, yeah, I would go back. It's work and it's fun work. I'm proud of my work on DAYS. Shane was a character the show created, and I helped create. Shane became a historic character. What's not to enjoy about that?"
