Catching Up With Kimberly McCullough & A Martinez

Comments

Kimberly McCullough
L.A. girl McCullough plays a Big Apple native in the film GREENER MOUNTAINS. “It is about a young man who inherits this resort in the mountains,” previews McCullough (ex-Robin). “It’s all about whether or not he wants it.”

McCullough plays Alice, the young man’s love interest. “The girl that comes from New York City and makes him think about other places.” Once again, “I’m the quintessential girlfriend,” she jokes
“And I’m also working on [directing] my own short film. I’m almost finished with that, so that takes up most of my time,” McCullough explains.

A Martinez
While McCullough’s “girlfriend” role in GREENER MOUNTAINS will be familiar to her GH fans, Martinez’s (ex-Roy; ex-Cruz, SANTA BARBARA) character in the film ONCE UPON A WEDDING is a departure.

“It’s a romantic fable. It’s a takeoff on ROMEO AND JULIET. I play the comedic dictator of this banana republic,” he offers.

“He seems like he’s out of his mind, living in grief over the loss of his wife a number of years back. It seems as if his grip on reality is tenuous, that his grip on his job is also falling apart. He’s being taken by the people around him that have nefarious goals.

“But the truth is that he’s crazy like a fox. Even though he seems to be out there beyond help, he’s actually still very aware of where the bad guys may be. He’s slowly but surely taking care of business,” he reveals.

There is no release date for either GREENER MOUNTAINS or ONCE UPON A WEDDING.
