Deadline.com reports that ABC is set to announce its plans to spare GENERAL HOSPITAL from cancellation. Instead of axing GH, the network's struggling makeover show, THE REVOLUTION, will go off the air in July to make way for Katie Couric’s upcoming talk show. Maurice Benard took to Twitter to share his thoughts: "I just heard we're going to keep going. What can you say about Frank, Ron, the crew and everybody at General Hospital? Im just so damn proud".
