Brooke And Eric
For almost three years, Ridge was Brooke’s destiny, so who was she to turn to when he dumped her in favor of marrying Caroline? His dashing dad, Eric, mired in a loveless marriage to Stephanie, offered Brooke a strong, comforting shoulder to cry on, but we never thought it would go further than that (especially since he had just finished an affair with her mother, Beth). But during all that commiserating, Eric and Brooke fell in love and shook up both families with their relationship. After giving birth to his son, Rick, they eventually married, but of course, her feelings for Ridge shot down any hope for domestic bliss.
Sally And Clarke
She was the overheated owner of Spectra Fashions; he was a double-dealing designer, but who would’ve ever thunk that these two would end up husband and wife. But lonely Sally had designs on the much-younger Clarke and knew she had to offer something big in order to entice him into matrimony (especially since he was once married to blond bombshell Kristen Forrester). But a deal was struck: Sally would sign over half of her company if they tied the knot and he stayed true to his vows for two years. Ever the opportunist, Clarke accepted the proposal and wed his robust boss. The business merger, er, marriage, didn’t last, but did produce C.J.
Brooke And Thorne
She has been married to Eric and his son, Ridge, so why not give another Forrester a try? That’s just what Brooke did after she realized that Ridge (still her destiny) was never going to leave Taylor and she welcomed his brother Thorne’s support. Right on cue, Brooke fell in love and despite her track record in his family tree, Thorne went gaga, too, even though he was engaged to Macy. Brooke and Thorne embarked on an illicit affair. When his mom walked in on one of them in a compromising position, she promptly had a stroke. The best part of the forbidden romance: Brooke trying to win over Steph by giving her a pedicure!
Brooke And Deacon
Yep, Brooke was once again brokenhearted when Ridge decided to stick with Taylor — so you know what that means. That’s right, Brooke found herself drawn to yet another man she shouldn’t be drawn to, this time her daughter’s husband. Convinced that Deacon was going to ask Bridget for a divorce, Brooke jumped the gun by jumping in bed with him, but then he didn’t have the heart to chuck his wife. Brooke was hopelessly smitten with Deacon — as well as pregnant. Bridget was not amused when she found out what was going on and kicked her husband to the curb. She turned her back on Mom, too, that is, after helping deliver her baby sister, Hope.
Bridget And Ridge
Still smarting from her disastrous marriage, Bridget found Ridge (supposedly her half brother) mighty tempting. Before you scream, “Greek tragedy!” it happened after she found out that they were not related after all. When Ridge learned the truth, he surmised that Bridget was just confused and gave her a longing kiss to prove there was nothing between them but fond feelings. Unfortunately, the smooch only bewildered Ridge, and they both struggled with their deepening affection. A clueless Brooke was thrilled to finally be marrying Ridge, so you can just imagine her horror when she overheard her fiancé and her daughter admitting that they would always love each other just minutes before the wedding (payback is a you-know-what, Brooke). The bride tried to get through the ceremony, but Brooke ultimately said, “I don’t!” and bolted from the altar.
