B&B New Year’s Resolutions
As the L.A. residents of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL prepare to usher in the new year, many of them have resolved to make major changes in their lives come 2008. Here’s a rundown….
Ashley — “In 2008 I resolve to make better ‘scents’ out of my love life than I do at the lab.”
Jackie — “I vow to upgrade to a hot tub in my office, so the next time I hold a news conference I can invite the male reporters into the water with me (talk about a press ‘pool’!).”
Stephanie — “I resolve to not assault the teacher in my anger management class.”
Donna — “I vow to wear waterproof mascara for the next time my would-be in-laws lock me in the steam room.”
Thorne — “I resolve to date someone who hasn’t already slept with my father or brother.”
Bridget — “I vow to never touch a test tube in the lab ever again.”
Felicia — “I resolve to not recap everybody else’s lives in 2008 and start having one of my own.”
Brooke — “I vow to make up my mind in my love life and stick to my choice — for at least a full month.”
Phoebe — “In 2008 I resolve to find myself a boyfriend who isn’t a nutjob, a flaky out-of-town musician or a guy who can’t wait until I’m ready to lose my ‘innocence.'”
Eric — “I hope to prevent Stephanie from breaking the backbone I grew in 2007!”
Clarke — “In 2008 I resolve to take an online class in fashion design so I can stop ripping off everybody else’s ideas.”
Ridge — “I’d like to actually get married to someone I propose to.”
Taylor — “I resolve to strive for a calm, peaceful life — one that no longer resembles those of my patients!”
Nick — “I resolve to restore my ‘masculine’ image after buying two fashion houses by investing in a couple of professional sports teams.”
Pam — “I resolve to stay on my meds in the new year — at least until Eric comes to Chicago for a visit.”
Ann — “In 2008 I resolve to check myself into an assisted-living facility. Going to the ‘home’ has got to be more peaceful than dealing with my nutty daughters!”
