B&B Alum In Hallmark Movie
Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin, B&B; ex-Vicki, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES) stars in the Hallmark Movie Channel Original Premiere of NORMAN ROCKWELL'S SHUFFLETON'S BARBERSHOP. The actress joins Austin Stowell (ex-Jesse, THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER) as Cole and Danny Glover as Charlie in a family film about music, fatherhood and how our pasts help shape our future. Ewell tells Digest, "When I was offered the role, I couldn't pass up starring in one of the most heartfelt scripts I've read, honoring such an iconic American painting. To embody such a lovely character with an opportunity to sing and play instruments; and to be able to do it opposite Danny Glover and Austin Stowell, was a privilege. This is a touching movie that fills you with love and reminds you what matters most." SHUFFLETON'S BARBERSHOP premieres Saturday, June 1 at 9 p.m. on the Hallmark Movie Channel.
