Eric, Stephanie and Ridge were stunned by Brooke’s decision to fire them. Ridge thought she must be joking, but Brooke was dead serious explaining that she had no other choice. Stephanie didn’t buy it and reminded her that everyone has choices. Brooke denied Ridge’s accusation that Stephen and Nick were just using her as a way to get revenge. Stephanie assured Brooke that she’s finally accepted her. A doubtful Brooke was sure it would be just a matter of time before Stephanie turned on her again. Stephanie reminded Brooke that the family almost lost Ridge because of their feud, and then pulled Brooke into a big hug.

Over at Massimo’s, Jackie was thrilled to hear about Nick and Brooke’s plan. Meanwhile, Felicia, draped in a sheet, was in her I’m-ready-to-be-sculpted pose, yet the sculptor, Dante, was acting odd and distant. Felicia wondered if he was still mad an her because of what she told Bridget. No, he said, “forget about it.” But Dante couldn’t focus and walked out for a moment. Christian showed up and asked Felicia out for lunch. Felicia pulled him into a kiss. Dante returned and told Chris to take his hands off her.

Stephen showed up at Taylor’s door, looking for the watch he left there last night. She thanked him for the flowers he sent. Enter Stephanie. “You sold the stock I gave you!” she proclaimed, and added that Taylor had now destroyed any relationship she still had with the Forresters. “Brooke fired us!” Steph fumed. Taylor was silent. It was clear to Stephanie that Taylor already knew. “Your drinking problem must be more serious than I realized!” she snapped. Stephen let Steph know she no longer has any power, and her days of abusing the Logans are over.

Ridge wondered if all this was payback for the way he’d treated Brooke. She said it wasn’t and begged him to look at this from Nick’s point of view. She loves him and they’re going to be married. Ridge pleaded with her to forget Nick and her father, and to come back to him. Nick arrived, eager to see if their plan had worked. Ridge pleaded with her to choose the Forresters, so she could finally be part of the family. Nick made it clear that if Brooke stayed, she’d do so without him. A teary-eyed Brooke told Nick she was sorry, but she couldn’t fire the Forresters after all.
