Stephanie was frustrated with Rick’s stonewalling and threatened to tattle
to Ridge. “I’m worry about the family and a scandal,” Steph huffed. Brooke
declared she’ll call the wedding off herself if it meant putting up with
constant interference into her children’s lives. Nick called Bridget with
the news about the boat accident and everyone rushed to the hospital.
In the emergency room, Nick was thankful that Taylor seemed to be okay. “You
look terrible,” she mumbled to him. Nick joked that they weren’t going to
have anymore sex in order to avoid future catastrophe. A worried Stephanie
burst in to see Taylor. Steph observed the warm interaction between Nick and
Taylor. After Nick left, La Forrester advised Taylor not to “throw your life
away on a bum like that.”
Ridge told Phoebe about the photo of her and Rick on the Internet. Phoebe
insisted that the set up was innocent and Dad believed her. Upon finding out
about Taylor’s accident, they headed to the hospital, too.
Soon Taylor’s room was crowded with family members and Nick kicked them all
out so the patient could get some rest. They all exited and gathered just
outside of her room. Nick admitted to Taylor, “I think I’m falling for you.”
Rick was able to tell Phoebe that his mother never said anything about them
to Ridge. “We have to be more careful,” Rick cautioned. He later passed
Phoebe a note, but Stephanie saw it. She accused Brooke of secretly
supporting Rick and Phoebe’s relationship. “You slept your way through my
family and I’m not going to sit and watch your son do the same thing,” Steph
seethed.
