On their flight back to L.A., Massimo and Jackie thanked Amber for saving Ridge. Ridge called a delighted Brooke to say he would be home soon. Stephanie briefly spoke to her son. Amber told Ridge she has always tried to protect his family. Ridge responded by telling her to quit while she’s ahead. Ridge said he wants to forget about what happened to him in Italy, but told Amber he is grateful to her. Once they landed, Massimo learned his driver was stuck in traffic, so Ridge left the airport on his own. Amber realized she doesn’t have a home to go to….
Stephanie told Brooke she respects that she kept it together while Ridge was gone for the sake of her family instead of being selfish. When Brooke said her family is now her priority, Stephanie told her that she has grown up. Stephanie left so Brooke could be alone with Ridge when he returned home. Ridge walked in with roses and reunited with his wife….
Nick surprised a dolled-up Bridget with a candlelit dinner at Chuck’s bar (which was closed down for their private evening). Nick revealed a single french fry on her plate. She smiled, “It’s perfect, just like you.” Nick assured Bridget that he wants to make sure their love is right for her. “You get me more than anyone ever has,” she said. While Nick tried to tell Bridget how he feels about her, she misunderstood. Instead, he sang to get the point across (during which Nick/Bridget moments were shown). Once the song ended, Nick got down on one knee and asked Bridget to marry him.

Over the phone, Ridge pledged to Brooke that, “Nothing’s gonna take me away from my family again.” They finally hung up after exchanging “I love yous.” ….
Nick asked Chuck to close down his bar for the next evening so he could arrange a special surprise for Bridget….
Brooke rejoiced with Bridget over Ridge. After Brooke thanked her daughter for her support during Ridge’s absence, Bridget tearfully confessed that she is in love with Nick. Brooke was thrilled, especially after learning the feeling is mutual. Nick showed up and was happy to hear that Ridge is coming home, but realized the blow to his head was due to their previous scuffle. Brooke left to notify the rest of the Forresters of Ridge’s imminent return and Nick reminded Bridget of their plans for the following night….
Massimo barged into Amber’s hotel suite with the police and demanded that she be arrested. Ridge convinced them of her innocence, although Mass was suspicious of the incredible coincidence that she happened to be in Venice (Someone finally said what we were thinking!). More memories of Brooke came flooding back to Ridge when Amber played Ridge and Brooke’s love song, Unforgettable.

Brooke tipped off Massimo to Amber’s strange phone call. They both suspected that Ms. Moore was behind Ridge’s abduction. Mass tracked down the hotel Amber was registered at and planned to head over there as soon as his jet landed in Venice….
Amber blasted Morgan for holding Ridge. Morgan tried to justify her actions but as Amber started to call the police, Morgan’s mom Natalie arrived. “Morgan is deeply disturbed,” declared Nat, to which Amber replied, “That’s putting it mildly.” Natalie owed up to her second-rate parenting skills and begged for another chance to take care of her nutso daughter. Morgan apologized to Ridge and he accepted, then left with Amber… Back at her hotel room, Amber phoned Brooke and explained the Morgan situation. Ridge came on the line and Brooke was overcome with emotion at the sound of his voice. When Ridge admitted that he couldn’t recall his past, Brooke assured him that he will be coming home to people who will take care of him. “The love that you and I share just doesn’t go away,” she sobbed to her amnesiac hubby. Ridge had a memory flash and called out, “Logan?”

Amber reamed Ridge for deserting his family then realized something was wrong when he didn’t recognize her. (Uh, count your blessings, Amber.)… Massimo and Jackie winged to Italy aboard the Marone jet in search of Ridge. Luckily, their plane didn’t crash like it did in 2003, giving Jackie time to apologize to Mass for her recent infidelity….
Bridget wanted to make love with Nick under April showers. As they stripped, the song “Soul Reason” played in the background. But Nick put the brakes on and told Bridget he wanted to wait….
Brooke comforted Thomas over his dad’s absence. “We could never lose faith in your father’s devotion to this family,” she urged. Brooke was surprised from a phone call by Amber who reported she was with Ridge. But the line went dead because Morgan pulled the plug.

Minxy Morgan promised to return Ridge to his family if he made a baby with her first. (Looks like Ridge didn’t forget everything after all.)….
Nick and Bridget didn’t have the sense to get out of the rain and declared their love for each other (Remember when an emotional Donna got big sis Brooke to admit she found their presumed-dead daddy during a downpour in 1988?)… Stephanie listened to Brooke’s concern that Nick wasn’t over her (We were happy to see that it was raining in Bev Hills, too or else this would’ve been one helleva “Picky, Picky.”)… In an amazing coinky dink, Amber spotted Ridge in Venice then angrily confronted him.
