The entire show focused on Nick and Bridget’s big day, taking place outdoors on Ridge and Brooke’s estate. Ridge helped a nervous Nick with his bow tie. “I’m only doing this for Bridget,” grumbled Ridge. “She deserves a groom who is presentable.” (uh, Ridge, did you forget the Montezuma getup you wore for your jungle wedding to Brooke in 2003?)….

Massimo gifted Bridget with earrings that belonged to his grandmother. After he left, Ridge showed up with a wedding dress. Ridge admitted that she looked happier and more radiant than ever before and they shared a happy embrace….

Massismo checked on Nick who was depressed that Jackie wasn’t totally in support of the wedding. Mass advised his son not to worry about it; Jackie later gave her blessing for their union (but she’s not fooling us)….

While Thorne congratulated Ridge on returning to Forrester Creations, Massimo told Eric it was time to put their differences aside for the sake of their children. Eric agreed and they shook on it. Eric then carried in a gown of his own design. “The perfect dress for the perfect daughter,” he smiled, but spied Bridget already in a white dress and veil. Not wanting to cause any waves, Eric didn’t mention his own creation. Father and daughter shared a few touching words and hugged. Later, Ridge noticed Eric’s long face and found out about the unused dress….

As Brooke and Stephanie helped Bridget get ready, Bridget marveled how they have really become family in the last couple of months and the women embraced. Bridget was confused when Steph pointed out how Eric was up all night sewing her dress….

When it was time to walk Bridget down the aisle, Eric was surprised and pleased when she appeared in the gown he designed. As the ceremony began, a veiled woman watched from the bushes.Thursday, April 21, 2005
Stephanie expressed her concern about Gaby to Bridget, who said she would invite the troubled teen to her wedding. Bridget then asked Steph to be part of the wedding party and La Forrester happily accepted. “You are a joy to me and your father,” stated Steph….

Nick asked Rick to also stand up at the wedding with a reluctant Ridge. Rick said yes then visited Stephanie and shared his fears that something could happen to hurt Bridget….

Jackie showed up at Brooke’s house and expressed her trepidation about the marriage. “Bridget is a wonderful woman, but she’s not you Brooke,” opined Jackie. Brooke was put off by the comment, but assured Bridget and Nick are meant to be together. “Are you sure you’re ready to give up Nick… forever?” posed Jackie. Brooke then recalled happy times with Nick, and Jackie urged her to take action before it’s too late. Brooke became angry and insisted her place is with Ridge. He then came through the front door and Ridge interrupted their conversation. “I hope I cleared things up for you,” Brooke said and Jackie made her exit. Brooke later spied a masked intruder on the terrace but he ran away before Ridge could catch him….

Bridget and Nick made mad passionate love again! He pointed out that Emily Post wouldn’t be pleased with their pre-nup etiquette. Wednesday, April 20, 2005

After a passionate night of love making, Nick wanted to get married right away but Bridget yearned for a proper wedding. Nick agreed — if they tied the knot tomorrow. He didn’t much like the idea of having the ceremony at Ridge and Brooke’s house (do you blame him?) but finally capitulated. Both knew that there still remained family members in opposition of their relationship….

Nick summoned his parents to his boat and announced his engagement. Massimo was thrilled, Jackie wasn’t. She explained there wasn’t enough time to throw a wedding together by the next day. Mass left but Jackie stayed behind to voice her reservations about the direction of Nick’s life. “Are you sure you’re running toward Bridget and not away from Brooke?” posed Mom. Nick was peeved, especially when Jackie kept pushing her point of view. “I found someone I want to wake up with in the morning and know we’re in this for the long haul,” he declared. Jackie happily gave in and offered her congratulations (although that look on her face said otherwise)….

Eric was elated to come to work and find Ridge already there sketching. Ridge then showed his dad a new copy of Eye On Fashion with Nick and Bridget on the cover. “She can have her pick of any guy in the work and she has to pick Nick,” groused Ridge. Bridget showed up and was upset by their attitude. “I’m going to walk down the aisle in a beautiful dress and see the man who I love so profoundly,” defended Bridget but Ridge stormed out. She then tried to reason with Eric but he refused to offer his blessing. Nick arrived and spoke from the heart. “There’s nothing like seeing your daughter’s face at sunset,” he rhapsodized. “I’ll do anything I can to make her happy.” Eric was moved. “I want you both to be happy,” he replied and walked out as Nick and Bridget gratefully embraced. Eric then mentioned to Megan that he was going to make a beautiful wedding gown for his daughter. Elsewhere, a pair of gloved hands ripped the magazine cover of Nick and Bridget in half.Monday, April 18, 2005
Bridget was devastated to overhear Nick admit to Brooke that he still loved her. “Then why propose to Bridget?” asked Brooke. Then Nick explained (in nautical terms once again), that Brooke opened his eyes to loving Bridget. She then made her presence known to them. “I’m so glad I heard what I did,” she tearfully announced, then shared how Ridge was dead set against her marrying Nick. Brooke threw in her support. “I’m going to cry more joyful tears than anybody,” she affirmed. After Brooke left, Bridget told Nick it was the first time someone chose her over Brooke. “That’s because I love you,” Nick said simply. Bridget recalled the time she overheard ex-husband Deacon and Brooke talking (and found out they were having an affair). Nick promised to always make Bridget feel safe. “I never want this to end,” she sighed….

Ridge showed Eric a new fashion sketch. “It’s sensational,” summed up Dad and was thrilled when Ridge asked to come back to Forrester Creations. Father and son happily embraced. Brooke came home and after her father-in-law departed, she insisted that Nick truly loves Bridget. Ridge was unmoved, but Brooke pleaded, “Forget the mistakes and praise the love that is there, for their sakes… for all our sakes.”Ridge caved and said he would try….

Thomas nixed Caitlin’s dinner plans so he could help Gaby move in. Caitlin understood (or did she?) and left. Gaby felt bad for ruining their plans but Thomas insisted he wanted to hear her sing. She tearfully did and then broke down in Thomas’s arms.
