Lily and Holden carried a collapsed Luke out of the house to take him to the hospital. At the hospital, Susan ordered a bunch of tests and assumed he got a serious infection in Mexico. Keith showed up and Holden and Lily apologized to him for not listening to him about how sick Luke was. Susan said Luke had to be transported to another hospital because his kidneys have shut down and he needs immediate dialysis. Keith offered to fly Luke to the hospital but Lily screamed at him to stay away from her and her family. Emma arrived and tried to reassure them and said she’d watch the kids. Lily nearly fell apart as Luke was moved out of the hospital and prepared for transport on Lucinda’s plane.
At Java, Will was concerned Gwen wasn’t still in the hospital. They discussed her shot at the custody trial that day. Iris came upon them and said Gwen was going to win. Will and Gwen accused Iris of just being in this for the money, and Gwen yelled at her for lying about her family. Gwen and Will took off for the hearing and Gwen told Iris not to come as she didn’t want her there. Meanwhile, Jack met up with Carly in the courtroom after she spent the night in jail. Jessica told them there is a new judge on the case and their chances weren’t good because of all the crimes that Jack and Carly had committed. She warned them that neither they nor Gwen may be awarded custody and the child could end up in foster care. Jack suggested they reach out to Gwen to make a compromise, but Carly refused and said she can’t trust Gwen. Gwen was annoyed when Iris showed up and Cass said her mother being there would look good to the judge. Before the judge could make his ruling, Carly jumped up and made an impassioned plea to keep Rory. The judge blasted Carly for putting the child in danger and removed the child from her custody. Then the judge railed at Gwen and Will for kidnapping the baby but said he understood Gwen’s actions. Gwen jumped the gun and assumed she was getting full custody, but the judge interrupted her and said she wasn’t.
At Al’s, Paul tried to shoot down Jennifer and Dusty’s plan to have a blood test done on Rory. Jennifer said they hoped Meg would be able to help them. Dusty came upon Meg and Emily’s argument at the hospital. Dusty asked Meg what she was calling him about before and Emily interrupted them until an annoyed Dusty ordered Emily to leave. Meg told Dusty to forget about her frantic phone calls, but Dusty pressed her. Meg called Dusty on using her to help Jennifer. Dusty said the only thing he wanted Meg to do was supervise a blood test. A frantic Emily called Paul to warn him that Meg was about to tell Dusty the truth and he raced off. Just then Barbara showed up at Al’s and told Jennifer about Will and Gwen kidnapping Rory. Jennifer was upset to hear that Gwen took off with the baby and Barbara wanted her help with Will and was confused when Jennifer rushed off. Paul showed up at the hospital, got Dusty to step away for a minute and then told Meg that he wants the blood test to happen, today. Meg was shocked that Paul wants her to switch the blood test results. Paul called Meg on not sharing the DNA results with Dusty and Jennifer already and said she had to do her part to keep Dusty and Jennifer apart. Dusty and Emily came upon their conversation and Paul told Dusty that he’s all for doing the blood test. Jennifer arrived and said they had to do the test immediately because her baby was in danger. Dusty got Jennifer to calm down and Meg told Paul and Emily they can’t tell her what to do. All eyes were on Meg as she agreed to peform the test.
