ATWT Recaps Week of July 25, 2005

Carly visited Sleeping Beauty, er, Rosanna, one last time before she was taken to a clinic in Switzerland, and then told Jack that she wanted Craig to pay. Jack suggested that Carly to go home and wondered if she was up for the responsibility of yet another child, but she said she could handle it. Carly said a tearful goodbye to Rosanna and promised to tell Ro’s son all about her. Carly came home to the baby and started having flashbacks about her past when the baby started to cry. The baby nurse left and Carly went to warm up a bottle. Craig arrived and Carly caught him trying to leave with the baby.
Back at the hospital, Jack apologized to Paul for Carly’s previous outburst and Paul said that Rosanna made a great choice in guardians for the baby. Paul told Rosanna that they should have reconciled and apologized for letting Craig hurt her. Paul declared he’s not going to be Mr. Nice Guy anymore and that he will protect Rosanna and her baby at all cost (buh-bye Rosanna and Cady McClain).
Katie ran into Hal at Java and they talked about Craig, then went to the police station, where all hell was breaking loose. Paul punched Craig after hearing Craig tell Jennifer that their baby is better off dead than having Jennifer as a mother. Hal was disgusted Paul was there and they had it out over Craig and Emily. Craig spied matches in Katie’s purse, and told Katie that everyone is against him and there is no way out. Hal left with Jennifer and Paul promised Craig he would find out what Rosanna wanted to tell him before her “accident.” Katie went to find the first aid kit for Craig, giving him time to swipe the matches from her purse. Margo and Katie blamed themselves for Craig’s antics just as a fire broke out in the interrogation room. They put the fire out but Craig was somehow gone (nice trick). At Java, Hal comforted Jen, who blamed herself for Craig’s outburst. Hal got a call that Craig got away and he headed back to the station. Jennifer then ran out. Katie realized she left her purse in the interrogation room with Craig, giving him the perfect out. Hal returned to the station, and Margo wondered what Craig could be up to.
At Lucinda’s, a dripping wet Meg coming in from the pool proved too distracting for Dusty. She returned in a hot little dress and they kissed. They went to the Lakeview for a drink (and to be closer to Dusty’s hotel room). While Meg was in the ladies’ room, a frantic Jennifer arrived and Dusty tried to calm her down. Jennifer told him that Craig ran Rosanna off the road and escaped from the police station, but Dusty told her she’s safe with him. An annoyed Meg returned and took off. Jennifer told Dusty what Craig said to her — and she wondered if it was true.
