Holden and Luke prepared for Holden and Lily’s vow renewal ceremony outside the house. Luke questioned Holden about how he knew Lily was “the one” and Holden told Luke about how they fell in love. Inside, Lucinda confided to Lily that she wasn’t feeling so well but she would get through it. Faith and Natalie ran into the room after getting into Lily’s makeup. Lucinda took them upstairs to take off the makeup, Luke took off to get ready, and Holden and Lily smooched. They later exchanged heartfelt vows in front of family and friends. Holden vowed to never take Lily for granted again, and a sobbing Lily said she was so lucky to have her family and will make every moment count. (A cute moment was when Lily said Holden was a great kisser and Faith covered her ears.) After the ceremony, Lucinda told Luke the girls were going to be after him soon, then caught him chugging some champagne outside. Luke lied and told her it was ginger ale.
Emily and Meg literally ran into each other at the Lakeview and Emily commented on the medical supplies that spilled out of Meg’s bag. Meg said that neither one of them wanted to talk to the cops and Emily wondered what Meg was implying then ran off. Emma came upon Meg and Meg said she wasn’t going to Holden and Lily’s ceremony. Meg said she didn’t want people judging her and Emma told her to stop feeling sorry for herself. Emily found Susan at the hospital and demanded that Susan file a report that Meg stole medical supplies from the hospital. Susan urged Emily to make amends to Jennifer (and to stop barking at her mom).
Jennifer and Dusty got ready for Lily and Holden’s ceremony with Johnny. Jennifer said it felt like the three of them belonged together. They went to Holden and Lily’s and were kissing when Meg showed up. Meg walked out and Emma followed her. Meg told her she shouldn’t have come and took off. Dusty thanked Lily for inviting them while Jennifer talked to Jack about a missing Paul. Dusty and Jennifer returned to the Lakeview, and Emily told Jennifer how sorry she was. Emily added that Paul dumped her on the phone — and Jennifer revealed she was the reason Paul broke it off.
Carly showed off a dress she made to Jack and they discussed how funds were low for all of the things their family needs. Carly said Barbara offered her a job but Jack was suspicious. Jack hoped Nick would screw up on the job so Hal would need him back. Jack mentioned he might do construction for Mike’s company. Carly blamed herself for Jack’s unemployed status and wanted to help, but in a throwback to the ’50s, Jack told her not to worry about money and just continue being there for the family. Carly and Jack went to Lily and Holden’s ceremony and Carly mentioned she would like her and Jack to renew their vows.
At the police station, Hal told Nick that he was working on the Paul Ryan case but Nick said he should work on it instead. Hal scolded Nick on his arrogant ways and reminded him that he was boss. Hal eventually gave him the case and told him he better see results in a hurry. Nick called Emily with questions about Paul. Jack showed up at the station and wanted to work on the Paul Ryan case. Hal told him that he just gave the case to Nick. Meanwhile, Nick showed up at Jack and Carly’s and said he needed Carly’s help.
An injured Paul grabbed the cell phone and wondered where Meg could be. In a hallucination, Emily showed up and shot him again. He took some pills then imagined Jennifer was coming at him with an ax. Paul called Meg and said Emily and Jennifer were trying to kill him. She told him he was hallucinating, then he passed out. Paul then dreamed that Emily and Jennifer were back at the cabin so he ran outside. Meg returned to the cabin and searched for Paul, who was unconscious under a snow drift outside.
