ATWT Fans Say, ‘Hit the Road, Kack!’

The votes are in! A few weeks back, Weekly asked AS THE WORLD TURNS fans to send in suggestions for new couple Jack and Katie’s pairing name and we definitely got some creative responses.

Before you scroll down to read some choice comments and find out what suggestions we received, however, here are the top five most used (per Weekly‘s mailbags) pairing names for your other Oakdale faves:

1. Carjack: Get out of the vehicle and hand over the keys, Katie… Carly and Jack mean business!

2. Masey: Sure, being in prison is no parade, but Casey’s still got main squeeze Maddie to make it worth wearing that orange jumpsuit.

3. Skatie and Matie: Katie’s husbands might be long gone (or are they?) but fans’ hearts are still skating circles around Simon and crying “ahoy!” for Mike.

4. Henna: They may be the new kids on the pairing block, but witty and wild Henry and Vienna have already tattooed themselves on fans’ hearts.

5. Willen: Forget Jade, Cleo or Alison — if Will and Gwen are “willen” to make a go of a teen marriage, then their fans are willing to watch!

“I vote for Kack, because it reminds me of the sound a cat makes when it’s coughing up a furball. And I can’t wait for Jack to cough Katie’s fluffiness out of his system so we can get back to the couple with depth, history and passion: Carjack! I have no interest in my favorite character, Jack, being saddled with Katie’s shallow world of bunnies and lambs and annoying perkiness. The very thought of it makes me want to…*kack!*”

“How about ‘Over’…as in I wish it already were.”

“I like Snyper and Jackie both, but Snyper hits it most.”

“I like Jatie and KaJack for their name — those are the two that make the most sense. I have to say, though, I like Brad and Katie better as a couple. Jack and Katie just don’t go together for me. They should have brought Rose’s friend Mitzi back to be with Jack.”

“I don’t even want to name them because they don’t belong in the same orbit [as other couples]. However, if I must, their name is Kack. You know Kack, Kack, Kack, like someone is choking on something. Most Carjackers will refer to them as Kack, as we referred to Simon and Carly as Sic. May the Kack union be short-lived, but long live Bratie and of course, Carjack!”

“I think Snyper is pretty interesting at the moment. When Carly gets back, their name will be TOAST!”

“Why not Snyper? Last names instead of first?”

“Kack is pretty much the name that is being used for Jack and Katie — a couple the viewers don’t take seriously.”
