Apprentice 3 Update #5
After last week’s Dove debacle, Net Worth and Magna desperately needed to prove they actually had skills and were capable of teamwork. In the Feb. 17 APPRENTICE installment, they did just that.
Each team had to redesign an Airstream trailer and create a service for Manhattanites. Magna went with a massage/manicure spa. Michael was against any title idea but his, and Stephanie was against everything. After NW’s Angie spent several fruitless hours searching for a casting director for a casting site on wheels, Tara saved the day by finding Meredith. As Tana excitedly noted, she was casting for a film starring “Uma Thurma.”
Magna looked to have a steady (air)stream of quick-pleasure-seeking clients, while after a slow start, the actors converged on NW’s site. For once, it appeared THE APPRENTICE had given people jobs before the finale (acting work, that is). And for only $25 a pop!
Net Worth’s income just edged out Magna’s, sending the six remaining “book smart” folks back to the boardroom. After Project Manager Bren — and everyone else — went off on “scapegoat” Michael, Bren brought him and bad-attitude Stephanie to the BR.
Could it be? The PM eludes Mr. Trump’s wrath for the first time this season? Yes! Unfortunately for Michael, his mouth did him in, and The Donald sent him, his suitcase and his ego out the door.
Seven Net Worths and five Magnas are left. Check this space next Friday, Feb. 25, for the latest scoop on NBC’s hit reality show!

SOAP OPERA WEEKLY ‘s Predictions for the Final Four (three are still in):
Alex: His theology and Latin degrees alone reveal his impressive mind, and his solid speaking — and lobbying — skills will please Trump.
Brian: He’s got the creativity and business acumen, having made a million from selling glow-in-the-dark necklaces.
Kendra: This entrepreneur and talk radio show host may prove to be one of the most resourceful and dedicated players.
Tara: Watch this one — her NYC know-how and heavy management experience should keep her on the successful side.
The dark horses: lively Angie and tough Bren!
