AMC’s Egan To Y&R!
EW.com just broke the news hinted at yesterday by Chrishell Stause (Amanda, AMC) on Twitter: Emmy-nominated AMC alum Melissa Claire Egan (ex-Annie) has been tapped for the contract role of mystery woman Chelsea on Y&R and will debut on November 11 in a storyline that will link Chelsea to Billy's Myanmar woes. Billy, of course, is played by Egan's former on-screen AMC brother, Billy Miller (ex-Richie), who just happens to be one of Egan's best pals. Egan is the first ex-AMC star to join the Genoa City ranks since AMC's Casting Director, Judy Blye Wilson, accepted that post at Y&R.
