As Snow Patrol‘s “Chasing Cars” played in the background, Kendall informed Ryan she did “feel love for him,” and the two began kissing. “I want to make love to you,” Ryan announced, but added that if they did “it,” he’d fight to have her in his life. Kendall started kissing him, but pulled away and walked outside, obviously torn. Meanwhile, at Fusion, Babe and Josh finally gave into their attraction and had sex after Josh proclaimed his love to the blonde. Later, Josh made one of Babe’s fantasies come true and filled a kiddie pool with water on Fusion’s rooftop. Things proceeded to get steamy — again.
When Kendall finally walked back into her home, she told Ryan that she realized she loved him. “I don’t know how it happened or when or why, but all I know is right now… I wanted to be with you,” she revealed. She ran out earlier because she needed to figure out what the “right thing to do” was. What she wanted wasn’t important — she had to think about the consequences. (Wow, someone has grown up!) She couldn’t just have sex with him because she had to think about Zach, Spike, Ryan and herself. No matter what their history was like and how much she loved Ryan, a part of her still loved Zach and she couldn’t be with Ryan unless it was 100%. Ryan appreciated her honestly and assured him he’d deal.
At the Chandler Mansion, an obviously upset JR struggled with whether or not to call Babe. He eyed alcohol, but stayed clear of it and answered the phone as Adam called. From the secret tunnels, Colby listened as JR discussed the family’s dire need to find her. After JR left for ConFusion, Colby listened as Winfred told Sydney that she’d be staying in Pine Valley awhile longer. Later, Sydney discovered a very-much alive Colby.
At ConFusion, Annie thanked Jonathan for saving her daughter (or for murder, however you want to look at it). But when Annie brought up Lily, Jon immediately changed the subject. Erin noticed and expressed her concern to her brother. “Just leave it the hell alone,” Jonathan demanded. Later, Ryan showed up at the club and mingled with Annie.
Also at ConFusion, Jamie had a chat with Dixie. He had to know if his father was lying about Greg Madden’s murder. “Look me in the eye and tell me you didn’t do it,” James demanded. Dixie assured her stepson she was innocent and pointed out that she’d never been able to lie well to her sons. (She seemed to do a nice enough job lying about her death. How quickly one forgets.) Tad then walked up (obviously ConFusion is the only place to go for entertainment in Pine Valley) and told his son to stay out of it, which Jamie answered by telling his dad to go to hell. When Jamie stormed off, Tad attacked Dixie. (Déjà vu anyone?) Dixie’s brother and sister came to her rescue, however, and ordered Tad to leave Dix alone. After he left, JR went to make sure his mom was okay. Dixie advised her son not to worry about her, but rather go check on Babe. JR nodded and headed upstairs to Fusion. He discovered Babe’s dress lying on the floor and wondered what was going on. (Warning, JR: Stay away from the roof!)
